Oh my gosh thank you for pointing that out, this was one of the main things I wanted to fix with the new entity system, but I got so busy with getting the system to work in the first place that I totally forgot about this scenario. Hopefully I'll have it fixed in time for the public release! Update: Alright I got it working now yay.

don't worry i've seen other videos of this updaten so i can tell you evreything new in the update 1: the principal office now has its own unique door 2: the library has changed 3: classroom generation has been upgraded immensely 4: the number balloons bounce a little when you select them with your cursor 5: baldi now says how many notebooks you collected when the escape phase starts instead of just saying “you collected all- notebooks!” 6: the sound for arts and crafters is a little buggy when he spins around you 7: the bsoda splash texture is different 8: the prices of certain items in johnnys shop have increased 9. beans has new sounds 10. there's new sounds for the saftey sisscors and zesty bar when used 11. dr reflex 12. color-coded maps 13. several new Structures to level generation, such as filing cabinets, a hospittal, 3D-modeled bookshelves, computers, ceiling fans, and a hop-scotch area 14. the sounds gets muffled when under-water and your vision is limited during the flood event 15. several new Hallway formations, such as open areas with pillars in the middle, two parallel hallways with a thin wall separating them, and "diagonal" hallways 16. a new special Room formation for each common type of room such as a l shaped classrooms variant and a u shaped Faculty Room variant 17. classrooms can now have different desks/variants such as classrooms can now have regular desks being replaced with teachers desks and the classrooms can now be messy with the desks/chairs scattered all over the place 18. the playgrounds now have birds chirping and other ambience 19. the player can now ride the merry-go-round 20. the bully now pushes the player when they have no items to give to the bully 21. the bookshelfs changed and 22. and updated how the level generator makes levels

Honestly, i love how they're going about with Baldi here, the little features and details really add to it, and the little animation of Baldi covering his eyes and even peeking are genuinely really neat.
I think they're planning to port baldi's basics to VR eventually (I noticed it in a video but I forgot the name), so seeing all the new characters makes me wonder how crazy they would be when you're on your headset taking a reflex test and praying lmao
i know this is a comment from after 0.4 released to the public, but i really wish the kickstarter demo could be more accessible to baldi fans because some fans weren’t even teenagers when the kickstarter happened

When dr reflex squishes an character. It will stop every direct action the character does. Baldi- Can not kill you Principal: Cant send you to denetion. But he wont leave you alone. Gotta Sweep: Cant sweep anyone Playtime: Cannot play the jump rope minigane Bully: Cannot take items Beans: It does nothing. He will still gum you squished or not. Player: Cannot Pick up items or notebooks.
I always imagined him constantly sounding embarrassed and a nervous wreck while contantly snorting uncontrollably. Great voice of Dr. Reflex nonetheless.
I'm here after playing the full release and It's peak I wish I could have beaten all 3 floors but Dr Reflex was causing me so much trouble and I was just very clumsy too. I'm so glad that Mystman is back with new banger updates!
Hey Pghlfilms! Just a suggestion, but with the release of 0.4 of Baldi’s Basics Plus, you should really do a video were you play every gamemode in the game, find all the characters, events, rooms, field trips, challenges, etc. Kind of like what you did for Classic Remastered. I’m sure it would be a great video
