This guy looks insane. He also makes a good point about the positive reinforcement from his peers. You only need a few compliments, some female attention etc, and you feel validated. It's important.
I realized how blessed i am to have had hair for 27 years, its over now for me, but my heart goes out to those of us who go bald early, it really sucks for self esteem, luckily this guy looks pretty good rocking the bald look and has a good outlook
@@scoon2117same here, 28 and still got a good hairline and hair but my corners are receding a bit and thinning near my front. I think I got a few more years since my older brother went past the point of no return at 31
Same I'm 28 and bald by choice. I've noticed when I let my hair grow a little my hair is receding. I've decided to grow it out and enjoy it til it's gone.@@scoon2117
Yeah man.. you are rocking it! Such powerful words about being taken for a mug by the beauty companies.. so much respect man!! BTW, I relate to that walking with a swagger which I did not expect once I shaved my head... I've had loads of compliments since doing it!
Sending you lots of ❤️ from Detroit, Diego. 🤗 You look so handsome, and badass! I am a 6yr breast cancer Survivor. My hair loss is due to chemotherapy treatments. Don't listen to the haters. Just keep being you, and doing what makes you happy! 😊
I shaved my head right before I turned 25. When you're balding you think the world is ending. When you shave your head, you instantly realize how little hair matters in life in any aspect and can move on from any negative thoughts you used to have about yourself. If men put any of there self worth into having hair or not, they need to sit down and rethink their values in life.
true but you have a dope beard. Some of us who can't grow much facial hair end up looking like cancer patients without hair 😂 33 and still have my hair but it's creeping back so hopefully that shit migrates to my face
@@chilloff5948 I couldn't grow a beard until I was 29. So almost 5 years of being fully shaved. I grow one for the fall/winter and shave clean for spring summer now. The two things you should do are keep your bodyfat lower and workout your neck. If you're bald and skinnier and cannot grow facial hair, you should be doing neck workouts every single night for 5-10 min. You will be mind blown at how much it helps. Literally all you need.
Don't do it my dude. You're gonna grow to be 10X the man than anyone around you - all because you'll have to look at yourself as someone individual instead of someone who is the same as everyone else. This shit ain't a curse, it's a blessing for many if you lean into it.
@@BsetXOXO appreciate your kindness, but you're late man, I already started it. The truth is, you don't become a better/bigger man after shaving your head. I tried shaving, and it didn't make me lose the mental burden that is hairloss. I don't remember the last time I was happy. Hairloss has completely derailed my life. I've never had a girl show interest in me after I started balding (so after 12 y.o.). I've never kissed, or even hugged a girl in my life, and now I'm just content with the fact that I'm alone. My own mother still prefers to put photographs of me when I had all of my hair in picture frames, not my recent ones. I tried to fill that growing void in me with literally everything: gym, church, academic achievements. Nothing helps. My soul is like a giant keloid scar. I've never hid my balding, or formed some sort of safe behaviours around it, and even tried to open up to some people about it. Nobody understands what it is like, even the people who's closest to me. It's so isolating. I'm just tired of life. I can't continue to live with the fact that tomorrow it's gonna be worse than today. Balding did not help to build up my character, it completely broke me.
I was bald(very short hair not by choice) for 13 years. I only ever actually was able to pull or feel my hair when i was 14. The only great thing about it is that im not scared to go back to bald. Definitely not as bad as people paint it
Of course he does. Nobody acts the same way with everybody. It’s the same with everyone when they go to interviews… you act more formal and articulate yourself better than you normally would.
@@TairiqueTuray still he definitely has a complete personality shift I act more professional around some people sure but I still generally keep my personality this guy goes from church boy to wanna be pimp
I wish I knew how important having hair was earlier. I'm 26 and never grew my hair or styled it and never even knew about male pattern baldness or receding hairline until now. I have always just asked for a cut at the barber and that's it. Just started styling my hair for the first time at 26. I still have thick hair but a receded hairline. Hoping to enjoy learning how to style my hair with what I still have left before it may be too late one day.
I finally started losing my hair at age 29 I tried to feel self confident in myself but I couldn’t I gave in and got a hair transplant last year October 31 2023 This month will be 1 year since my hair transplant I have a full set of hair but the medicine gotta take it everyday it’s just a pain in the butt sometimes I forget ..
Similar situation. I think it started at 29 but has progressed slowly. Now at 31 the signs are clear. I’m gonna try finasteride. I’m gonna give it one good shot!
Buddy, you look GREAT bald! Combine your natural good looks with a strong personality and you’ve got it made (American expression, not sure if it’s used in the UK!) You’re fortunate in that if you did choose to wear a hairpiece they’re cheaper and better-looking than ever nowadays. I’m much, much older than you and the hairpieces that were available back in the day were horrible in appearance (the hair was usually WAY too dense) and VERY expensive. This was long before the Internet became popular. Lace-front pieces were thousands of dollars (in todays money probably $6K and more and IMO not even as good as what’s available online for a few hundred dollars nowadays. Thin-skin and ultra-thin-skin pieces (think Sylvester Stallone, in my speculation) didn’t even exist when I was a balding young guy. I no longer wear a piece but I like the option that being bald gives guys: they can go au natural or wear hair at their choosing. For that reason I’d actually rather be bald than have a very receding hairline, it gives you more options.
Oral Finastride no choice hair transplant well it's not as good as the original. Finastride whole you still have it for what you still and do weight lifting also to balance it out side effects. And running well that would help finastride more getting good oxygen in hair follicles and at the same time even running lowers the dht some weight lifting kind temporarily increases dht and goes back to normal something like that I've heard but testosterone is there as well.
Stay Positive Fellas, if there was a “cure” for baldness, Jeff Bezos and The Rock would have done it years ago. And Yes, I have the Kobe hairline, so I go bald
If you’re worth more than what other people think then why shaving in the first place? Need to go with the natural balding crappy look. The man is lucky he turned out to look good. But it doesn’t happen for everyone.
