I wish there was a mod to add your own custom songs or somehow replace in game files with your own file.

Love it! You even put the dual track of mandolin (at least for bard dance, the only one I really know that got one). Thank you for your dedication to one of the most underrated part of the game. I am curious about how you did it now. Considering the max is 4 characters in the party, I assume you did some visual composition? If so, that is very well made!

Thanks! Yes bard dance and old time Battles both actually have a secondary mandolin track. Power and all the DLC songs did not. I edited them together from 6 separate recordings. You can see some discrepancies in the background that gives it away!

Does anyone know how they implemented this? Is it a full song with the tracks muted then when another character plays the track is unmuted? Or Is one track played as its own file and when another character plays then another file for that instrument is queued up and mixed in?

As far as I can tell, it's the latter. Each instrument is its own track and they sync up when another one is added.

It seems so. I'm hoping theyll add something new that allows learning songs in future updates though.

There are three other songs, but you need to buy the DLC, all based on Divinity 2. It's called the lute of the merryweather bard.

@@Mootacoosaw another song, but was binded to a specific instrument, instrument itself doesn't seem of relevance but haven't found a way to learn it or found other instruments with it

@@johjoh9270 do you remember what instrument it was? I know of the Spiders Lyre, but the unique play option just plays "The Power"
