Mind Flayer Colony not Myconid Colony whoops 😅 Apparently Gale's buff isn't permanent usually things explicitly state they go away on long rest so this may be a bug so keep an eye on patch notes.
It WAS the same as radiance buff from the creche, if you kicked them of party they kept it regardless of long rest, so all you had to do was kick gale before long rest and it was permanent. Now its fixed, when you long rest its done, as for the radiance buff it also no longer applies when putting the items on the pedestal, I believe only once as well. Rip radiant orb spam.
Random topic for the "lore" fans of the game: in the arcane towers basement there is a book that i randomly read that said the towers owner (Lenore) found SAREVOK(after his defeat and having lost his memories) and hospitalized him till he regained his strength !! My mind was blown away of this revelation
@@attila4480 Lenore ,from some random letter i found (i dont remember where) was probably killed by the bullete monster you fight there in the underdark because (according to the letter l) was trying to have it as pet ,a very dangerous thing...
If you’re a bard chosen at 1st level (not multiclass into bard after level 1), you can play a song with Alfira after defeating Ketheric Thorm. If you succeed in the performance check, you get a permanent class action, “Improved Bardic Inspiration 1D8” once per long rest. It doesnt require any bardic inspiration resource, and stays on even after you respec. I already tested it multiple times, it doesnt work with companions. They can play with alfira but they wont get it no matter what. If you choose bard class only after level 1, she wouldnt even invite you to play with her, and playing any song wouldnt reward you in any way.
@@flob3459 hmm. what do you mean you tried 4 times? Like did you play with her and rolled success 4 times? It's strange. You should get it. Also there's no notification when you get it, it just appears so you gotta check your action list or hotbar.
Permanent advantage on concentration checks is just busted for a spellcaster. That way you can keep your concentration so much more often, and concentration is so crucial
@@Isaax I left to baldur’s gate and it forces you to rest and the buff did not persist. I speculated as much since the Permanent label did not accompany the buff.
Technically you don't need to lockpick the room for the Gale buff. If you speak to the half-orc general or whatever she'll give you the key after a conversation/successful check. It's balthazar's room and your are given the task to find him.
Unrelated speed tip for impatient players: If you just succeeded a roll, you can immediately press enter right afterwards and skip the rest of the "SUCCESS" animation
Hey man your vids are great. Vocal delivery is great. Id recommend using a high pass filter on the mic cracked to like 100hz. It might help with the plosive sounds of P syllables. Literally the only thing that bothers me about the vids. Thank you for the content.
@@rafaljarmuszkiewicz514 Yes, he actually will. In my 4 player session, my Monk friend lobotomized it and we eventually discovered that same lobotomized creature in the cage. I ended up receiving the item to summon it, but I decided to give it to the Monk because it seemed more appropriate (and amusing).
You missed one small bonus. Dealing the killing blow to the Nightsong with any character gives them the Dark Justiciar tag, which will reduce the DC of the Mirror of Loss. (Might be more benefits but I've yet to find them.) You can have all your non Shadowheart members kill her then still free her.
2:36 - so apparently you can tell her no to avoid an opinion hit with Asterion, but then come back after controlling Asterion and just talk to her as him to do it for no opinion penalty.
It's the other option it gives you (Gale will explain when present) to combine the the broken moonlantern and dead pixie to create a unique lantern that can summon a lvl 6 shade, only Gale can do it. @@Setzer
Forgot the black mirror in moonrise tower. if you pass the religion check (which is hard you need a d25 so you might want to save scum this one) you can get 2 permanent ability points of your choice! str, int, wis etc...... And you can do this for every character
thats a class mod that puts the artificer in the game and he can summon bernard and later on a steel watcher. If you want to know how to install the mod I have a video for it on my channel
Some of them are conflicting, unfortunately. Like there's nothing you can do to have *both* volo's eye *and* auntie Ethel's eye. Either she or volo will tell you no bc you only have one good eye.
I am using class mod that adds the Artificer to the game. Its an inventor type and summoning bernard from arcane tower is one of the abilities. He can later be upgraded to a steel watcher from act 3 there is a video for it on my channel if you want to check it out. You'll have to be on the PC version
I was a bit surprised to hear Everlasting Vigor was a thing, but if it's locked to Asterion that explains it. I've done two full playthroughs of the game: the first time I killed him, the second I left him on the beach and never spoke to him. I don't truck with vampires: much like mind flayers, I draw the line at making friends out of things that literally prey on my kind.
By the way, does anyone know if they fixed potion of everlasting strength? I think when I got it originally it only applied after equipment and capped at 20. So, I had 19 Str. 21 with equipment, and after the potion I still had 21.
@@GCHero That has nothing to do with what I said. I'm specifically talking about equipment that goes over 20. So, naturally it should apply the permanent potion effect before that equipment in the calculation since the potion seemingly does not go above 20.
potion of everlasting vigour removes the +1 strength bonus from heavy armor master feat but ONLY IF your strength is higher than 20, seems like the potion bonus is applied before the feat so you could have 20 str, drink the potion and have 21... it gives you 2 points but takes away 1 point from heavy armor mastery you can kind of 'fix' the bug by not taking this feat and take something else instead
@@leonholz5901 Gith lair is act 2 under the same map as Act 2 shadow lands so yeah I think it's act 2 honestly not 100% on that one you have to go to anyone area from act 1 and it can be the first time you do so I'd say it classified as Act 2
@@LukeCanWin I think there's currently a bug where you lose permanent buffs when you die. I lost Mystra's benevolence and mind barrier on two separate characters respectively at the end of Act 2.
That's not bug it's intended, certain buffs are truly permanent like the hag hair, potion of vigor, and eye of ersatz from Volo, but other buffs such as Lovatiar's love from act 1 and the mind barrier do go away if you die. Mystra's Blessing is different and goes away after a long rest it just doesn't say on the tooltip properly. @@phoenix173
@@phoenix173 Mystra's benevolence just straight up goes away on a long rest. It definitely doesn't say that it does on the tooltip, and I think that has made people speculate it's a bug. But I feel like with the amount of reports people have probably made about the buff at this point, I'd be surprised if they didn't fix this to be permanent, which has me thinking that it really is meant to be temporary. Either that, or it's part of some cut-content and they just kinda left this in without really worrying about it.
if you let Balthazar deliver the nightsong to kethric it will skip the first fight. You can also reach the mind flayer colony from the prison using feather fall. @@LukeCanWin
you are actually wrong on multiple things. i suggest u go throug the game again and take another route to underdark, just so u can see for ur self :) nice video besides that, i enjoyed it alot
