Those boots are EVERYTHING!!!! They are art pieces. Can’t wait to see you wear them out & about when you get the right fit, as you will rock them out for sure. I share your take on scuffing; I think that will make them even better. If I come across a perfectly manicured lawn with a “keep of the lawn” sign marring it, I’m the kind who sees that sign as an invitation to walk on that lawn; a little imperfection is life itself. As much as I love these boots, I’m torn between hunting down a pair for myself or waiting for the leather version to become available. Thanks for sharing.
The difficulty with Chinese made goods isn’t if they are manufactured well or not. Its about the factory the designer/manufacturer picks. Some will pick low quality and put high price on items. I have to have experience with designer to know if their specific Chinese made goods are quality.
I was just able to get these off Farfetch and i'm so excited to get them in hand. So many different looks to try out. Super versatile design because its so minimal and simple design wise. So stoked.
Do the Balenciaga collection, honestly because of you I've been so enamored by some of their pieces ! I just recently got these boots, but because they were so popular I had to get the women's version, but not disappointed at all c: Was interested ever since I saw Justin Beiber wear them :o
what an art form! Such an exciting time for fashion as we are approaching into a more nuanced futuristic yet nostalgic designs! I would get that boots too! it’s like a warped shadow or smthng
I bought these, ladies, I had 2 get 2 sizes down, they r massive. I love the design but , omg, the dip in the boot on the top of yr foot is SO tight and SO uncomfortable!!.
I thought I had a white speck in the middle of the screen but then realised it was just in the video lol man these in cement grey or brown would look sooo sick. I'd wear them to scuff them up from daily wear
I appreciate that we have personal taste in styling and clothing, but I also think that there are certain designer pieces (in some cases 'all pieces!) in all collections which are just 'over designed for the 'statement/stand-out' element, and therefore do not hold their own years down the line and also cannot be considered vintage pieces either. Personally I think that the 'trooper 'boot will be one of those items that we will all look back on and think "What the hell was I thinking!". For example, if this particular item was designed by and appeared in the window of say, 'Clarks Shoes' (just an example, so stay calm everyone!) would we buy it....the design and is 'exactly the same, but the brand is different? (the 'truth' is, most likely not) I have favourite designers but I will never commit to purchasing there collections based upon this choice. This is not a criticism of personal taste just a view of how we get lost within the fashion world and the labels rather then the item itself.
Looking really bad hmm 🤔 actually very uncomfortable 😣 I know you are obsessed with Balenciaga nost all your stuff are from there but I really don’t like …. Also if you are happy that’s the most important But personal is really crap
It’s not that stuff being made in China is the problem, the problem is that they (luxury conglomerates) are trying to cut their production costs, while doing a casual price increase twice a year. That’s why no one should agree to ‘made in China’. I’m aware that I’m an idiot paying a 10000% markup as it is, but I guess there are limits to my idiocy.
but why do you assume manufacturing costs are cheaper in China? the Balenciaga Triple S for example was moved from Italy to China yet it is made from the same materials and takes the same amount of time to produce so why should we pay less just because it is made in a different country…
@@Gallucks well I wouldn’t call it an assumption, since it’s a fact. I can’t be bothered to do a bit of googling to back it up. It has nothing to do with geography. You can skimp on quality just as efficiently in France as you can in China. It’s to do with refusing to be treated as a complete and utter idiot. In the world of luxury, we’re paying for a story. The majority of today’s brands were started in Italy. And France. And it continued until the Arnaults and Pinaults of this world came and bought nearly all of them and decided to cut the costs on their end while at the same time increasing the end consumer price. Fine if it doesn’t bother you, but I want the story. The original story. The quality nowadays is shit either way, be it made in Italy, Bangladesh or on Mars.
How is this fashion it seems that these luctury brand charge more the more outrageous these shoes look. This isn't art at all when I clicked on them I think it was photoshopped.
The price makes theses a big NO for me 🥸 If you get your size do a meetup with Kofi and compare them to the crocs (Love the colour on the tracks now bettet than before, they‘re just too damn white)
