When you consider the amount of stress placed on both the baler and the Doosan, it's not surprising that they have a huge attention demand and, of course, the Achilles' heal of the baler is the ram. Mr Welderfabber's attitude is spot on. "If you want a bodge ask someone else." So we can confidently wish you a good result with that one and the baler back in business tout de suite! Good to see an old favourite, Marcus, in the office on a visit. I for one would love to see his version of "Will it run?" always an interesting and entertaining episode in the past. Go for it! Nathan, another vessel of talent at BCB. I really enjoyed his commentary on his construction work I think he should be promoted to Fourton, he deserves it! To be fair John makes Dean (and James) look as tight as Katie Price on a night out in Bacup. (😉John) I think you could do more videos with 3 Ton boys he comes across very well on camera. He’s confident and explains the job clearly when he approaches them. It’s also clear that he’s an intelligent guy and will be an asset to your business going forward. If Nathan is doing any Galvanised Steel welding ( they could be stainless hard to tell) not to inhale any fumes as they can cause severe respiratory issues if inhaled. Not so bad in an exposed area like that but it’s best practice to hold your breath when doing the run and then letting the vapours get blown away (or move away) before inhaling again. Ideally though you should wear a mask with a built in breather setup.

Proper way for a pot noodle is fill it to the line then fold the lid back over and leave it for 20-30 mins then come back and give it a quick stir and it’s perfect temp and no water left

25mm Flat plate or even better 25mm box section.. longer screws. Any movement in the ground that fixing is gonna cause you guys some issues - sort it out!

Ahhh lads, that baler is like non-stop struggles for you! Only saving grace was that it wasn't the ram you had *just* got repaired. It's like every month something goes wrong with it! Lefort when!?

Just ring around and round up two new or even some reco second hand hydraulic cylinder rams , ring up some excavator or tractor wreckers and get a price,there has to be some ID or model numbers on the rams somewhere , it's probably going to work out cheaper and there will be no fail points, once you start welding on those rams there never right

No need to pull the whole ram out of the Bailer all you need to do is unscrew all the bolts off the end gland and pull the rod out of the ram, undo the pipes to relieve the pressure to pull it out but no need to pull the whole unit out.
