He is slow. (both under sail and under the motor, in the configuration that we had) Despite all their claims of an improved hull. Even under the engine, it is slow - 28 horsepower is not enough. I must admit (although it's a shame, but everyone has experienced this at least once) - we had an unpleasant situation: we lost a propeller on it. So on 1 engine, it becomes almost uncontrollable. Having gained speed, he goes, but any maneuvers at low speed turn into a circus performance. Lagoon on one engine is perfectly controlled. Cutspace - no! And, in this matter, I have a biased attitude, so this is my subjective opinion - but from this list, the Leopard is my favorite! I don't understand how they did it, but this is the only catamaran that can go close-hauled briskly. Therefore, in my opinion, the only thing that makes this catamaran interesting is its unusual design of bow cabins.
