We finally ticked off a bucket-list trip and sailed around the Komodo Islands for 3 days! We set sail from Labuan Bajo port and headed for the Sea! THE BEST THING TO DO WHILE IN INDONESIA?!

Pick up from our Homestay
Kellor Island
Manjarite Island
Pulau Koabe (Flying Fox, Mangrove Forest)
Day 2:
Padar Island (Sunrise Trek)
PINK Beach!!! (Insane beauty)
Komodo Island (Komodo National Park)
Manta Point
Turtle Point
Kanawa Island
Day 3:
Kanawa Island (Explore the reef with our snorkels)
Sail back to Labuan Bajo

Hi! So when we went, the sea was a smooth ride and we didn’t get many waves at all. We have heard from friends that when they travelled, there was a few waves.

Hi! We went with a company called "Family Labuan Bajo Tour and Travel" which was great. You can find them out IG. Very basic, but what we expected. Price may vary.

Can you please tell me who you booked your Komodo trip with? There are quite a few companies so I want to make sure I go with a good, reputable operator.

Hi! We used FAMILY LABUAN BAJO TOUR AND TRAVEL. We booked via WhatsApp which was easy. It cost us 2.5m IDR each for a share cabin. The boat was basic but we spent little time on it so we cannot complain for the cost we paid. The food was limited so be prepared to bring your own snacks and drinks apart from water. We were looked after and the trip was great.

what are your overall impression of bali - and the islands so far? the money you guys spent is it worth it, also what are your thoughts for all the ticketing?just letting you guys know its not just internationals that get ticket charge everywhere, locals are also charged in indonesia.. our taxing system is a bit broken and most people dont even pay tax to be honest unless youre in the middle or upper high income anything below there is no point of paying tax.. unfortunately because of that the local government dont get support as much from the federal.. also with parking there are no time limits but in the Mall and supermarkets usually its charge by hours, but shops on the side of the roads have fixed price for parking

Hi! So I would say our overall impression of Bali is great! We loved the sights, culture and really enjoyed the trekking and surf, night life was also great! Most of all, we loved the people! The locals were kind and helpful. We were very saddened by the trash/rubbish piled up in the streets which is such a shame for such a beautiful place. We understand the governments don’t support business and locals with help to reduce the rubbish so it’s very hard. Thank you for the message about the taxes and parking! Really helpful knowledge and we love that you guys comment such great knowledge as well!
