Glad to see your boat had these checks, we were on a boat that felt like it was going to sink In January, the day before the one that did sink, and when people scrambled for life vests, there were only enough for about 1/2 of us. Worst experience of my life

Great video and good to see that authorities got everyone off the boat and transported safely . You both handled this awkward situation incredibly well.
As scary as the coast guard incident was, it's actually great that they take the time to make sure everyone is following regulations. I mean, if there aren't enough life vests, someone might drown, so it's always good to follow rules. But luckily it only took a half hour to deal with. Imagine if they made the boat turn around or arrested someone. That would be a nightmare!
Exactly our thoughts after we found out what was going on! It was just scary at first not knowing what was happening and seeing the crew run around. 😂🛥️ There have been a few accidents around there area so we were very glad to see they have safety checks!

We hope they help! 🤗💜 We think Bali is safe for families and children, except for traffic. 🚦🚸 The traffic on Bali can be very confusing and dangerous, so we advice being extra cautious around any street and organizing transportation. 🛵🚗🚐 Most of the tourist destinations are safe and family friendly (waterfalls, beaches, temples, parks, etc)!
This is very informative! We are coming from airport straight to Nusa Penida. After seeing the bit about the luggage and walking in water to boat I'm thinking we should store our luggage in the main land and just take a small bag to the island. Do you recommend this?

Today i went to store some of my luggage at Bali Store Luggage and found that they are very much away from Sanur port, whereas in your video it looked like they were some where at a walkable distance from Sanur port. Thanks! We shoot everything in a flat profile and color-grade all of our videos in post. It's pretty easy if you have a Lut though. And we would still recommend the M50. 👍
May I please ask what are the other time schedule to Penida from Sanur? My flight arrivrs at 8 am in BALI, want to head over to Sanur right away and catch the boat to Penida, Hopefully i dont have to wait for so long.
The time schedules vary depending on which company you use. I also reccomend scheduling some extra time for the immigration process when you arrive to the Bali airport. The immigration process took us about an hour just to get through the line at 10 PM... It might be busier in the morning. Here is the website we used to book our tickets. how should we get transportation to the (tree house) hotel from the harbour in nusa penida? we have one suitcase to carry what should we do? can we carry the suitcase on scooter?
Well it depends on what harbour you arrive at, but of you have a suitcase you'll probably want to use a taxi or hired car. If you contact your hotel they might organize a car to pick you up. We would not advise carrying a suitcase on a scooter unless it's a backpack. The roads can be bumpy! 🛵
