I cant seem to get the transition from the reverse thumb roll over into the flip up catch, I can’t seem to get the momentum right or move my fingers fast enough
Don't short stop with your index pushing down the blade. It's a really bad habit and hard to break (took me about a week of just drilling it to get rid of it), bc it uses your index finger as a crutch; it compensates for the lack of ring and middle finger strength, which is really important to build as a beginner
This guy focuses more on trying to show us how good of a flipper he is so I wouldn’t use this guy for a tutorial i really recommend the channel big flips 👍
??? What are you talking about he’s just flipping while talking. He never said anything and this tutorial is way better than most that I’ve seen. Plus if he is good at flipping then he is good at flipping. There’s nothing wrong with it
A short stop is literally the one manipulation at the end of these combos. In other words, the short stop is completed correctly once open position is secured. You're free to do anything else from that point obviously. Unless you literally mean to question the movement used at a specific point in this video. In that case, a time stamp like this: 0:15 would make it easier to answer your question.
