If the photos of Basudde's car published online after the accident are correct, then his car was a Land Cruiser 60 Series but either an FJ60 or HJ60 trim because FJ61 and FJ62 were face lifted versions of the same car series with some upgrades to the engines, lights and interior. to put this into perspective, this car is the modern day Land Cruiser 200 series (V8) 2008 -2020 or the current generation 300 series (V6) 2021 to date........ it's what Ugandans call Mpenkoni that our Ministers are driven in today. In 1990s the Landcruiser series was split into three distinct Landcruiser categories to include; the Original J70 series as a Heavy Duty rugged offroad vehicle used by UN and military, the J90 series as a lightweight comfortable version for European markets and this is the Current Land Cruiser Prado and the upcoming J250 series....... the final category is the Station Wagon J80, 100, 200 to the current LC300 (Mpenkoni) Produced for big family adventure and comfort.
