Thanks, just what I was looking for!! I gotta do that on both sides. It's hard to find this on a 2wd truck, every other one I found was for a 4wd which is totally different.
All business....no foolin around. Thanks. I watched this due to death wobble. I've replaced entire steering rack. Only thing left is all 4 ball joints and control arm bushings. I thought for sure steering rack caused it but it still did it. Ball joints have no play in them but control arm bushings are bad. Very bad wobble at 15-45 mph....craziest thing I've ever experienced.
Have you checked the ball joints play with all the load from the spring taken off? It can be a little hard to determine sometimes....The reason I change them was a “clonk” every time I drove on rough surfaces and bumps, but it turned out to be the hood making the noise! Yeah the hood!
@@carscloseup question. I bought one like this im debating on just doing it all front end rebuild. From both control arms , springs, shocks , rotors, tie rods , lift spindles, ext brake lines, brakes, rotors sway bar and 235 70 15
@@Luis620Lop3z Depends on how bad the condition on the components are, if the control arms have some surface rust, no need to replace them. It also depends on how much money you have and how serious you are! It’s becoming an old car and doesn’t have a high value.
