Two great players, personally Ballack was a favourite of mine when he was playing, randomly got to see him play once for Germany in his prime and he dominated the game, anyone who knows footy is aware that when a CM is able to dominate and control a game from that position they are a fucking baller but also a tactician.. positioning, anticipation, movement etc all in the bag, tbh worst thing in the video was not the argument but the close up of those hideous Chelsea fans

Drogba was too arrogant to admit that ballack was more of a free kick specialist than he was. That does not mean that he wasn't an amazing player but he needed to learn to step back sometimes and allow other players to take the shot.
This is why we didn't win the Champions League, Carling Cup, FA Cup or Premier League that season. Although we had the squad (arguably our best ever) we lacked a leader; Avram Grant was an ice guy but no way would top managers like Mourinho, Conte, Simeone, Ferguson etc allow this incident to happen. This was just a prime example of how our players were managing this side.
I still remember the stupid fight Ballack and Drogba had with Giggs in the Champions league final that cost us the win that season (2007/2008) to United. That whole season was a shit show. We lost Mauhrino during the first-half of the season, Avram Grant took over mid-season, and the club was literally controlled by the egos of Ballack and Drogba. Ballack got into a scruffle with Giggs over an uncalled foul, and Drogba who had absolutely nothing to do with the fight, for whatever reason, decided to get himself involved, and head-butted Giggs that got him a straight red. What hurts was that, we were actually winning that game before the fight, with about 20 mins left of actual time. His red card insured United an equalizer and we eventually lost out with penalties. 🤦🏾♀️ I didn't eat for days, and it still hurts me to this day.

it's a difficult position free kick spot to decide who's free kick was it, I think, it was for Ballack in that position because the spot is slightly on the left, Drogba would take free kicks from the centre spot
This is one thing that I find really funny about football players . They fight over free kicks like little kids lol . You should just trust your team mates .The best player in taking free kicks should be given the chance .
