Hey, what's up, hello! My name is Katelyn Overby and I am a reader/writer/artist/Ravenclaw/person living in the part of the U.S. that is considered to be District 11 or 12, depending on which map of Panem you're looking at.

“ snow lands on top” - Tigris Snow to Coriolanus Snow. I think this was at least partly planned, how did Tigris react when Katniss told her she wanted to kill Snow. Tigris had no expression as though she was torn. Just a thought to consider.

I would say most likely Maude Ivory is Katniss grandmother.

Spoiler This theory has a lot of merit, the hanging tree was banned pretty much right after its first performance. The only way it could be passed down to Katniss’ dad is if someone remembered it from the few times it was performed. Maude ivory is mentioned to be able to remember song off of one listening.

@@erikhernandez7752 no one really knows, she either died or disappeared into the woods. The point of the ending is that she is just a ghost like the song, with no concrete ending, just unknown

the arena is an old amphitheatre. An amphitheater is like an old theater building that the romans and greeks created and used for tournaments such as the olympics, executions, gladiator fights and performances of plays. In the middle is the stage and the audience seats are built around it in a half circle and there are many levels to the audience seats and under the seats are tunnels

I just read the book for the first time yesterday (binged it in less than 24 hrs.) and I loved it, it actually made me like Snow a bit.. and yes Im also looking forward to the Neon Snakes.

Really? It made me despise him even more. His motivations were always selfish and some of his gut reactions were just so judgmental and gross. He would _almost_ be a decent human and then his internal dialogue is presented and nope, still garbage.

I haven't read the book but I'm guessing Lucky Flickerman has to be Caesar Flickerman's father being that this is supposed to take place 64 years before the original Hunger Game movies.
