I feel like there are levels: "Very good" "Yeeeesssss" "Yeah, but *correction* " "Knee, knee, knee, knee yeaaaeas" "Better" "Nice, Name" "Good" "Hmh" *silence*

during teachers pet when you said beautiful and bravo and stuff i thought of maddie and abby from dance moms 😂 edit- thanks for all the likes!

The hiphop girls always do TikTok dances during ballet when the teacher isn’t looking 😂

The “popular girl” isn’t a stereotype though... it’s very much real and I can’t stand those types of dancers 🤭🤣

There's also: - the one who always forgets the combination/ dance - the one who is a teacher's pet but is not even the best dancer - the one who always skips class for no good reason - the one that pops every single bone in their body on accident (me) - the one who finds all of their stuff in the studio's lost and found - the try-hard (I feel like every studio has at least every person on this list)

Don’t forget the naturally-gifted dancer. Never stretches but is the most flexible. Best turnout. Longest legs. Perfect ballet body. A lot of the time they don’t even want to do ballet professionally.

In my experience with the shy bunheads, when they make friends, they end up being some of the loudest kids. Like they start out being the kids in pink tights, black leo, black skirt, bun made with a donut, and turn into ponytail, leggings, and tshirt people.

I am literally exactly the shy bunhead I am not lying, I literally do everything like her!! Edit: i quit ballet because of all the mental health issues and injuries. In another life, this would've worked out, i'm sure of it I love ballet but i love my life just a little bit more. I still dance though, just not ballet. To anyone who does ballet, you're so strong and i wish you nothing but the best.

I was a troublemaker when I did ballet. I got nicknamed “The Phantomess of the Opera”, for sabotaging other dancers, messing with props or sets, intimidating/blackmailing/terrorizing directors or producers, I even had my own insane cackle perfected.

For me, it's different for the classes, in jazz the teacher loves me and always compliments and corrects me. In my first ballet class, my teacher literally told me ”your a beautiful graceful little dancer. To bad, I never pay attention to you.” in my second ballet class and pre-pointe I'm just like there...The face teacher is my best friend's mom though so I think she likes me- then both modern and hip-hop are fine. I feel like ever since my best friend started at my dance studio. she got mega-popular and took me with her, so now I hang out with the popular girls and boy. K thanks for coming to my ted talk
