Thanks. This is great! I live in Rio de Janeiro and 360's are hard to find, but when I find some, I'm going to buy A LOT so I have my supply to make these! We also don't have 5" round printed balloons. Only 12". I'll use regular 6 and sharpie.... I thank you and all of "my kids" thank you in advance!!!
Hmmm... I don't know where you can find 350s in Brazil, but I know that there are a lot of balloon artists there. If you go to the Qualatex or Betallic websites you should be able to find a distributor list to point you in the right direction to find a local supplier :~) Or maybe I could come bring them to you~ I've always wanted to visit Brazil ;~)
PLEASE COME!!! I only see people who make basic dogs and swords here. I've met ONE other guy here who does complicated ones. The balloons here in stores are not great quality. I usually find "Art-Latex" and "São Roque" balloons here in stores. I don't know if you're familiar with them. What brand do you recommend for cost/quality from US? I can have someone bring me some. I'm sure they are much cheaper in the US. Thanks again!
check out the Qualatex and Betallic websites (I think Betallic is Sempertex in Brazil). They have a list of their distributors there. Those are the brands I use the most and find the best. Brazil has some amazing balloon artists and a big balloon convention that I'm dying to come to. I'm not sure who runs it, but maybe look for Lia Palka or Eduardo Seiti for information :~)
Lovely design. You may want to consider adding a fully inflated 260 straight down. I make a much simpler/smaller one balloon (260) airplane and and put it on top of a straight 260. The kids like to "Fly" thier airplanes overhead.
Good suggestion. Sometimes I will twist a spiraled 260 into the bottom of the "wings" opposite the alien head to give the kids a flying stick. To keep the video simple I left it out this time though :~)
I will be using this at an air show this summer! Thank you, Sandi... Oh, for the pilot, I could use a blush 5", blk 160 and white 160 and make goggles.
When showing how to make a figure, you should have the finished sculpture to show what it will look like. I kind of like your plane, but I don't like the front wings.
Can you only do licensed stuff when it isn't attached directly to your business? For the longest time I never did copy-written characters, but then I noticed channels like AMFAB were not getting copywrite strikes, so I started doing Disney characters and other popular branded character themed decorations and twisting tutorials as well. I don't have my channel formally attached to my business, but I am terrified of channel deletion due to copyright violations. Can you give me any insight into how this works?
The problem isn't that it's on my channel, it's that I make my videos at You Tube space. They are very strict about copyright and every video that is shot at the space needs to go through their legal clearance department. So if I make videos off site- like at home or in a hotel or other venue, then I can do whatever I like. It's only the videos that I shoot at You Tube itself that are the issue, but that's where almost all of my videos are made now, so I make more generic videos and fewer "parodies" at the moment ;~)
Sandi Masori Balloons Wow! I didn't know that at all. That's so cool. I'm always stuck filming in my tiny apartment so I'll often film at the beach or other outside locations whenever I can and whenever the weather permits - the wind is my worst enemy, haha. Thanks for sharing that info!
