Balloon Cup AKA Piñata - How to Play 🎲 and Is It a Gem? 💎 

In Balloon Cup (2003 Kosmos) and later Piñata (2013 Rio Grande), two players will compete in four areas, playing cards to build the best sum to collect the goodies within. Get enough goodies, you can cash them in to win. Wait, the "best" sum? Well, some areas want a high sum, and some want low, and when an area is complete, it'll flip and get new and different goodies, so your less-useful cards in hand might get a new lease on life. Play on your opponent's side to finish an area more quickly - annoying them is just a bonus.
Balloon Cup was one of the better games in Kosmos' classic 2-player line of games. The newer edition - already 10 years old now! - has fresh gameplay changes and a colourful, though hard to read, presentation.
