Tony portrays emotions so accurately. You can see his anger towards Ben when he says “he lied didn’t he” and the sudden change to utter devastation when he says “he’s guilty”. Such an underrated actor.
This’ll be another arc in bens life that will mess him up even more, people are forgetting last couple of years have been a struggle for Ben, rape, bulimia. Prison on the other side of the world, knowing his family won’t be there for him, and knowing that he’s let Lexi down again. When he does come out with a whole new look, it’ll be interesting what will happen to him. I’m still ashamed that this is Max Bowden’s exit. They’ve really done him dirty. Wish him all the luck in the future. ❤
I was just going to say, it's masterful acting from Tony, there. About a dozen emotions cross his face, in about two seconds, as he suddenly understands what's going on. That look of quiet betrayal damn near broke my heart.
@@shaunacurley1032 in Emmerdale the actor that plays Robert was leaving the soap opera. And they had his exit similar. His character went to prison . It's about the same as Ben. As far as Ben's character they'll probably say he has to do 6 years in America or he'll do a runner but then later on if he is In jail for 6 years if he ever comes back he'll probably be played by a different actor and then they'll say that they cut his thing down to a lesser sentence or if he does do a runner then he'll try to say that oh he made a deal with them and ended up grassing on somebody else for him to have a Shorter sentence or no sentence at all. Just a thought though.
And mine. I just hope Phil doesn't persuade Callum to do something silly and then Callum loses his job, or leaves the programme. I am sick of the way Jay, not Callum is proprietorial over Lexi, as Ben's husband, he should have more rights than Jay
Look what Trump does and he is still walking the streets. Ben has some pathetic charge and should go down. No way! What a weak storyline. Is that the best the writers could think of?😢
You don't go to prison for CC fraud in the states, and you don't get extradited for it either. You may have a lien placed on your house etc., but you don't go to prison, unless it's millions, and this wasn't millions. This storyline is STUPID
So the money Ben was planning for Lola was stupidly used by him for pleasure even though he was at breaking point and in denial of her terminal condition?
This is such a tired cliche trope and even worse it is blatantly a rip off of the Aaron/Robert split in Emmerdale from years ago. Seriously just have him exit the show on something far more reasonable and open-ended to where a new actor is free to take over the roll in the future without the ridiculous character progress suicide they are doing to Ben here.
The whole storyline is so ridiculous it makes you want to laugh. And it's completely unnecessary. Years of development thrown away. And we don't even know when the character will return. They'll probably make him divorce Callum from prison.
