Alot of them act as the "representative" or "face" of the brand. Yes they have incredible artisans constructing these stunning pieces of art but the director steers the boat. It's because of the Director or head designer that these beautiful pieces exist. Yes they have input from others but ultimately they are the ones that have passion, drive and a unique talent. All of the creative directors know what it takes to do what everyone does. They were once a bidding young designer in their 1 room studios sewing away. They get it and alot of them always thank their team when given the opportunity. They would be foolish to think that they can create and produce so much pieces on their own.

creative directors actually start where every new person in fashion would start. just because you see the result in the end doesnt mean they haven't went thru hell to achieve what you see. The creative director is the leader, and honestly taking a bow isnt much credit. Its two seconds. No one on the team would be neglected too, they are proud of what they produced TOGETHER. They are proud of their leader and not selfish. You dont need to be seen to be heard. The clothes do the talking.

Let us not forget how talented these designers are. Even if they never do the cutting and sewing. They are the reason those creations are started. Those seamstresses could never come up with those collections. They are getting paid to bring someone else's ideas or designs to life.

Unreal. The designer is hands on 100% working in tailoring, sewing and constructing fabrics and materials. He chooses every piece, model, site and directs the show. He is nothing without his team, but his team doesn’t have a job without his ethic and talent. It’s odd to me that the people who don’t really know what happens in the workrooms judge the most and assume the opposite. The designer provides so many people with jobs and pays them extremely well. It’s team work because that’s how designing works. Not to mention the credibility they receive from his actual websites and media. It shows how naive y’all really are when it comes to fashion and the industry. But than again, how could you really know. This show you just saw only shows you a sliver of the actual show.

Behind the scenes workers, use the designers'name inntheir resume. That's good enough to get a job
