Balmain | Spring Summer 2019 by Olivier Rousteing | Full Fashion Show in High Definition. (Widescreen - Exclusive Video/1080p - PFW/Paris Fashion Week) #Magdalenafrackowiak #Natashapoly #Caradelevingne
For everyone wondering why the soundtrack is terrible (or why Cara appears to be singing), please note that this is not the music from the show. I watched the show live. Whoever put this terrible soundtrack did so for copyright purpose. Apart from that, great show! Olivier is back!

Mitchell Downes the marble/broken glass motif is very early 10s, so are some of the more dramatic silhouettes in the show. between that and the ever present pointy shoulders it's really not fresh. the bleached denim and japanese pants are very 2015 too and the triangles everywhere are peak 2013 (and should stay there tbh) ; it's like roustaing is catching up on trends he was too scared to touch back when they were still relevant or something ? weird.
THAT WHOLE PLASTIC CASE AROUND THE HANDBAG WAS DONE AT CHANEL FW 2009 whatever junior designer came up with that and why olivier approved it is just beyond me
The construction on those pieces. Especially the architecture. So beautifully conceived and brilliantly executed. Olivier always delivers. I LOVE this.
Olivier had to switch it up--too many designers were making Balmain-inspired pieces. I'm happy he didn't completely lose the 'bling' from his designs. More on the casual side, some African Inspiration, some futurism... but another great collection nonetheless
It’s so funny, growing up I remember people would tease the tall skinny girls cause they were awkward or stood out like a sore thumb...and then when we grow up to be adults everyone is envious of that tall skinny girl cause they end up looking like models. And they stay looking young for a long ass time lol I’m glad the fashion industry has become more mainstream cause young guys and girls who grow up skinny get shamed a lot but only the fat shaming only seems to get the sympathy and attention. It’s a blessing to have these genetics
For some reason the camera work didn’t allow us to see every outfit equal time. Some of it reminded me of toilet paper and pads but that’s just me. But other than that and the streetwalker denim section this was typical Olivier excellence. The high waisted belted pants are phenomenal and the signature Balmain padded shoulder tops and dresses did not disappoint. Balmain will remain *the* brand of the millennial woman generation. Modern style in its highest form.
Beautiful, innovative, interesting. I can see the amount of work that has gone into the detailing. I love this collection. I will wear this. Merci, Olivier.
The black girl at 3:24 is having such a great season so far isn’t she? And she’s only 15! I hopes she stays safe. We know how dark the fashion industry is...
as I posted above; the music from that video is not the music from the fashion show. I watched the show live. I guess that whoever posted this video added their own sound for copyright reason.
I usually LOVE anything Balmain but I kinda wasn’t feeling most of this collection. It had the tell tell Signs of being Balmain ( the shoulders, metallics, beading, and body con) but some of the looks looked nothing like what I’ve come to expect and idk if that’s good or bad. The one thing I liked the most about Balmain is it looks like Balmain not anything else
