So that was the official recording of the Balmain Tigers theme song for 1973. So there must have been official club versions for given years. It did not do them much good. Finished 10th out of 12. I actually did see them play once in 1973. They ran in 3 unanswered tries in the first half versus St. George, and one was thinking, shit, how easy is this, and no hacks or country sides are going to be doing that, but then they conceded 27 unanswered points in the second half.
@@footballrugbyclubsongs2360 I already heard that :) Nate37 also did St. George, Parramatta, and a kind of low-quality version of Western Suburbs (there is a HQ vinyl version he’s trying to get). There is also a 1975 version for Cronulla as well which is seen on a different channel.
@@trainco1643 I found a video with someone recording the video in his home, and he is playing a vinyl record of the 1975 Cronulla Sharks song. Try searching “Up, Up, Cronulla 1975 vinyl version”. It should be there; let me know if you find it, and maybe Nate37 could get in on this as well😊 The channel is Dreamer Darko Sports where the video should be there.
Maybe Steve Frewin. I cannot say with any certainty that it is he, but only that it is a sound educated guess. He was with Balmain in 1980. Keeping in mind that the images in this upload is nearly all Balmain players from other than 1973. [ At 16 seconds, that is Geoff Starling, and not Garry Jack. ].
