I bought one about 2 months ago, and love it. Visually it's the closest any homage watch has come to replicating the look of the old Tudor Submariner. I had a blue Snowflake Sub in the late 1980s to early 1990s, and wish I had never sold it. If Baltany did this same model, but with white snowflake hands and indices, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great review.

See if you can find a Silver Watch Company Archetype One floating around. They came out around 2019 and are a very close homage to the old snowflake subs of the 70’s.

Would like to see this at about 1 to 1.5mm thinner with a signed crown, tighter bezel, and a more traditional hour minute hand. A version with snowflake hands and square indices would look good as well.

It looks real good with the nylon NATO strap and I'm sure it would look good with a rubber waffle strap as well. It has a nice retro vibe for sure.

Yeah, it's always hard to show off crystals on camera, but there's no denying the crystal on this is excellent. I'm not sure where they source their stuff from, but man, I want those crystals on EVERY watch

Great color and love the aluminum bezel. Agree that it’s a bit thick and 39mm or smaller diameter would suit the retro vibe.

The case diameter actually is 39mm, but the bezel is wider and overhangs it a bit. Super comfortable on the wrist, at least for me.

Spend a little bit more and you'll get closer to what you want with the San Martin SN006. Top hat sapphire, ceramic insert, gloss dial, superior finishing. Thanks for the great videos.

I actually had the SN006...it was great. I'd want an aluminum bezel, though....and the printed dial was matte, not glossy...but a great watch and I regret selling mine....I want the updated applied dial version in black but it seems sold out everywhere

I love the retro case design/aluminum bezel. I really don’t like the current Rolex maxi case, and I wanted something with slightly better quality than the Invicta pro diver. This looks like it could be it.

The screw in and out on mine is pretty gritty but less than what it was. I can live with that Put mine on a BoR and it looks fantastic. Really suits it

Looks good at a glance, especially that aluminum bezel but it appears to just be a modern sub-style case that's been cut down to be slightly slimmer rather than a true vintage style case. The thickness and rounded crown guards give it away.

That midcase is throwing me off. I don't know how open they are to suggestions because I've never seen a version 2 come out in any of their models. Maybe you could tell them people would like the watch slimmed down a bit? It's on sale pretty cheap right now, but I may go for the one you have on your wrist but in blue.

I really dont get the thickness of these Ali watches, they always have a way to make it 13mm+ somehow, which is a total bummer for me.

None. Anything under like $750 or even more aren't charged import duties. Just state sales tax which is charged at checkout 👍

@@armandovm I think the sugess is nicer, but they are 2 different watches. This being the more vintage looking. Hard to comprehend them directly, but the sugess is the nicer of the 2

You just got to get a squishy wall. They work pretty well or duct tape. But still rather have the typical matches but definitely not a deal breaker for me

DON'T buy a baltany watch. My baltany watch completely failed after wearing it 4 times. I contacted baltany requesting their address so I could ship it to them to be repaired / replaced, it has a 2 year warranty. They refused to provide their shipping address and said to have it serviced locally, despite the movement completely failing. Unbelievable, they are NOT a legitimate company. Their ‘warranty’ is fake. RUN from this scam.
