Baltimore Basilica - a Short History 

The Baltimore Basilica is America's First Cathedral. It was designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, who was also architect of the USA Capitol. A primary example of pure Neo-Classic Design, it was recently restored. Normally open 7 days a week, the Basilica welcomes anyone to pray or look around.
