This also explains why younger people do not want to enter the profession. Lawmakers in Red States are even threatening to pull teacher's licenses if they quit before the end of the school year. This is the opposite of incentivizing them. I don't have all of the solutions, but it's easy to see why they're not staying.
One parent said there needs to be more consequences when dealing with violent students. For the last 8-10 years there has been ZERO consequences to students who use violence to intimate not only other students, but teachers as well. This is a direct result from Democrat polices that shifted blame to anyone else but the actual perpetrators (students) for their violent crimes. When you have the head of the teachers union (AFT), President Randi Weingarten, closing schools without any evidence that the Covid pandemic was even harmful to students. Ms. Weingarten, the biggest bully by far, threatened any teachers that dare question her narrative surrounding the vaccine, lockdowns and remote learning with firings, targeted harassment and social isolation. Along with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Randi Weingarten should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
