Here is a review of the Hilton Baltimore right by the Inner Harbor. It is a great location for an Orioles game or for visiting the Inner Harbor. From the view of the baseball field from the gym to the mimosas in the lobby there is a lot there to take in. Though, I had a few extra perks as well.

So worrying, glad that nothing bad happened. The hotel management seem unconcerned about the wellbeing of their guests and staff, very disappointing. Thank you, Mark.

Wow that's terrifying, and as a female traveler this is a giant red flag. The fact that the hotel did not seem to care makes you wonder if you were in trouble, would they help? As always, thanks for the honest review Mark!

Actually there was a small fire somewhere in the hotel. Could have been a smoker, but before they turned on the alarm, they locked the elevators and locked off the area for handicapped safe area where disabled people could wait for fire fighters. I am handicapped and would have been left to fry. I can't walk on stairs and I was on the 8th floor in a handicapped room. They got angry at me when I asked for help

I’ve had the very same issues and only with Hilton. They completely ignore the privacy sign. It’s crazy. I’m going to Hilton less and less and more Marriott. Hilton is going downhill and changing for the worse.

That's a little odd (and worrying) about a hotel chain like Hilton that has a reputation to protect, having security issues for its guests.

That's terrible. I am staying there in July and I pray I don't run into this. When they come in with your do not disturb sign out it makes me think they are coming in to steal something.

Thats crazy! Especially with the do not disturb. And they should have been terribly sorry, embarrassed, and a bit scared that they came in at night, bad things could have happened to their staff. Terrible to think they were non chalant about that. Do better Hilton

I live in the area. This is very typical of Baltimore. I’ve had the exact same thing happen at a number of hotels in the area. It is why the city is falling apart.

The hotel is technically owned by the city and not Hilton....

That’s no fun. A Do not disturb, means do not disturb. Being close to the airport means they may have pilots sleeping in the day. If I were you I would complain to Hilton.

I did. They gave me "double points on my hilton stays through the end of the year"

I am at the Tru by hilton now. Lots of things missing from my room. I reported it and they don't care. One thing missing is a camera card with my photos from traveling around the world, and get paid to take those photos, can't replace that. Someone is skimming off my things and eating the food I bought to keep in my room. I won't stay here again.

@lauralembeck8678 I would love to hear the details of your situation. We stayed there 2 weeks ago and my purse was stolen out of our room which we made sure was locked before we left. I am getting the run around from hotel security and they too seem like they could care less and it's not their problem.

Housekeeping does come in the Hilton rooms, even when I say that I don't want service. They walk right in. Very odd.
