The Orioles are coming off a thrilling 6-5 win over the Rangers that must have left every fan watching out of nails to bite. A tense affair from start to finish, the Orioles find a way to take the win, have built up a four-game win streak to respond to that five-game losing streak from last week. Now, a chance on Sunday Night Baseball, with the attention of a national audience, the Birds will fight for a four-game sweep of the defending World Series Champions. Cole Irvin will be on the bump for Baltimore, facing off against fellow southpaw Andrew Heaney, who has an ugly 2-9 record but his stats would tell you its been bad luck, he and Irvin, record notwithstanding, are pretty evenly matched. Heston Kjerstad is swinging a hot back but can Brandon Hyde find a space for him going up against a lefty starter. Plenty of drama, plenty of intrigue. The heat is on in Baltimore and the ball is flying. So grab a snack, a cold one or six, and enjoy the ballgame. Thank yooooouuuuuu.

Due to a variety of reasons and unexpected circumstances, this former staff writer for the Premier League gets to return to his original passion, starting his own project - covering Orioles baseball all season long.
