I was born and raised in Baltimore, right on Carroll st, in Pig Town. One of the best things I did was join the military, and get out of there. I had nothing going for myself, and was making some really bad decisions. I love the city, but it just wasn’t right for me at the time. I’ve thought about moving back after retiring from the Army, but we really like Texas. Love the channel, just stay safe out there bro🤙

@@Jaiysful well honestly, living in philly and being around wilmington, some of those people out there are successful, have multiple businesses, some maybe illegal, but they don’t leave the hood because it’s their home, me personally if i lived in the hood and then had the means to leave im out, but at the same time i understand why they don’t leave
@@Jaiysful alot of times i’ve noticed too, those brand new bmws n stuff like that they have are sometimes crashed or stolen and bought at almost half price, and alot of them own shops/ dealerships, honestly just because someone lives in the hood, does not mean they’re poor, alot of people assume

That's where the book "The Corner" was centered around. An excellent read to understanding how life is in most urban cities across 🇺🇸 .All by design i.e redlining, grocery deserts, lack of jobs, horrible school districts, and Democrat leadership.
The Substance of some of these buildings look nice, sad to see them so fucked up. Makes me wonder when life was normal in that area ? i am guessing the 60s ?
How many people in these neighborhoods are unemployed? Why aren't they out cleaning up the litter? I bet the city would be willing to help if they organized and made the effort.
If this community organized and gave one week of hard effort they could fix most of these problems. The neighborhood would look 100% better. I don’t understand why these people don’t pick up the trash in front of their yard. Even smoking crack won’t stop you from picking up litter
I went to Baltimore to get my hair done by a pretty and nice young lady well she looked young and it was ghetto as heck the streets like the concrete was a mess and the building was a mess and also the city part of Baltimore was a mess they need to fix’s that by the way am 10 I know I can’t fix people or the contreys but at least fix’s your environment to make the country u live in I just want the better for people and there environment. And also parts of there houses was falling down like the ceilings where falling down I also feel bad for the kids that live there
