man, Baltimore one of the only places which still got that 80s 90s ghetto feeling. your other videos are mostly ghosttowns where barely anyone is outside.
I lived here for two years so I could finish nursing school, and worked on the other side for 5, since 18. Say what you want about "Murderland" but the rent here is one of the highest in the nation. If you aren't born with a silver spoon, you better find a hustle quick, and unfortunately that's how a lot of people get stuck in criminal and seedy situations.
Yall need to really stop reaching and worry about your own lives, our city look just like any other city, and yes we have rats of course like any other city, by the way newyork rats are bigger than ours, the blocks he went down was pretty decent , some debri in the streets like any other city, yes we need some things done to our city of course, but instead of talking about it, at least pray for us in your gossip , for the most part IT LOOKS LIKE ANY OTHER FREAKING CITY.
@Lisa Whit i definitely can agree with you on the neglect of some people's homes and the way our mayor and city officials are ignoring the fact that our city definitely has a to many vacant house issue.
I live in Baltimore... yes it's a bad place but still... decent people live there too we can't look at everyone that lives in Baltimore as a bad person
not really in the hood on this video, mainly on the outskirts....gotta go down them streets where the goons are posted up....all I saw was some homeless & boarded up places.
I wish I could see Baltimore back in the 70s I can guarantee it was probably a beautiful place to live with beautiful people there are still beautiful people who are still living there but they are older or afraid of their neighborhood I drive through Baltimore every day when iam at work I feel so sad for the good people who are still there..
It was bugger awful then. Don't be fooled. There were probably more murders on Baltimore 50 years ago than now. Only the Orioles were a lot better, not the ghettos.
I watch alot of your videos these particular ones of Baltimore are interesting to me because each hood there are alot of people just hanging out not working just an observation
This shit wild, damn near still looks like the 80s & 90s when I was there!!!You get some good footage in Baltimore Charlie..Neva seen you hit the gritty streets of Brownsville, East Ny, Coney Island and Far Rockaway Queens yet..
My best friend died back in September. He lived in Highlantown for years than most recently, Fell's Point. Harder than heck to get a parking spot in Fell's Point. Another friend, lives in Potomac. He used to live on Stricker Street. He moved out of the city a few years ago. He had a hard time selling his row house that was practically all remodeled. Finally, he let it go to the bank for chump change. It was in such a bad area, no one wanted it. He got less than $10, 000. My other friend in Highlandtown, he sold his smaller row house and got, easily $400, 00. All because of the location. His house needed the whole inside gutted. It was really bad. Sad. But that's all about location.
I live in the west Baltimore City neighborhood, Sandtown-Winchester, near the Gilmor Housing Projects. I've heard those units are SET for DEMOLITION but I don't know exactly when. As OLD as they are, it's probably HIGH TIME for 'em to be TORN DOWN. The city's housing codes have probably CHANGED over a HUNDRED times since they were first built.
HABC still hasn't redeveloped that site where the old Madison Park apartments used to be, near the new Dorothy Height Elementary School, former site of the demolished John Eager Howard Elementary School.
That site is in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood. On the other side of North Avenue, that's the Bolton Hill neighborhood. I live in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood. Walking from my home to Pennsylvania Avenue, that's the Upton neighborhood, where the subway station there is.
There are 4 legged and 2 legged ones... While the streets that Charlie is driving down are relatively clean... If he were to go down the totally abandoned blocks and the alleys behind them, there would be rats aplenty, but they mostly come out at night... Former Mayor, Catherine Pugh, said that she smelt them...
@@falayonknight7904 I agree with you ! Years ago, I was driving at night on one of the streets and saw what I thought was a cat running across the street until I saw a pink tail in my headlights... That was no cat !
Another observation. Even tho this is completely depressive and sad. I noticed many people talking n just hanging out. Not like the west coast where every single idiot has there hands and or eyes glued to their smart device. That may be a plus in these peeps hard times without them knowing it.
@none of your damn business Just more evidence of how failed Democrat policies have crushed cities like Baltimore and destroyed lives of the people living in them. Black people taking the biggest hit. Yet, they still keep voting for the same thing over and over for 60 years because somehow the Liberals have convinced black people that the KKK is actually a real thing and a bigger threat than the fucked up situation the Liberals have put their neighborhoods in. It's mind numbing.
@@ladarrylemccalpin What a mess, you would think black people would be all over this especially after the slave trade, given the fact black people have suffered so much I thought they would never allow such things to be, but I guess broken people don't care.
I've lived in West Baltimore all my life, and it kinda sucks how normalized this is to me. Some of those places I would actually call safe enough to travel at night, big I'm recent years can no longer say. Ever since Freddie Gray and the new riot it's gotten worse.
Depressing, reminds me of work (real estate scouting for investment properties). Good real footage but Cant read the street signs(every road is familiar over the years)👍
Shout out Saratoga, Gilmore and Fayette Monroe, B-more is alright, my friends from Newark NJ called it Mayberry. I told them don't sleep. You can get your Wig split in either of them .
Downtown and a lot of Baltimore is way different, if you stay where you belong then you will be fine. If you search for trouble though, you will find it. Baltimore is a really great city in a lot of parts. It’s a secret gem
St Louis,Memphis, flint,Detroit, gray,Indiana,Newark NJ.they look like the air-force bombed half the cities.sad because it's our communities where hopelessness is abundant
And they called Trump racist for calling it out? Where's Elijah Cummings at? Decades of nonstop democrat rule, and the city looks awful. Democrats don't care about black folks. They get them hooked on welfare and keep them impoverished and promise it will get better if they vote for them again..
But as a black man shouldn't you be out there protecting your brothers and sisters? or is abandoning your family a normal thing in your culture? 80% divorce rate, just saying, 8/10.
@#BAGLIFE MIKE Yeah but bro bro, like bro bro, for real bro, you gotta take care of your peoples, fucking pussy! black people are suffering drastically because of ignorant fucks like you! HAVE GOOD DAY BEECH ;)
CharlieBo should give them a camera to like 5 folks so they can film their everyday struggle..hustling, getting some shit, etc... like that guy on min 10:47 talking about she gave her computer.. i like that kinda shit wish it was longer....just like when he goes into the liquer stores..my favorite
0:42 Live in the middle of a terrible neighborhood slum, yet still driving a brand new Mercedes S Class. Looks like these folks have their priorities straight. 🙄
@@KN-ko8ez They could be visiting somebody or could be a drug dealer, or own a restaurant or business in that hood. I grew up in the hood and when you saw a car like that those were usually the reasons. I doubt somebody could be approved for a new S Class that lives in a slum.
