Need....to know more....about Bam... so....many questions!! Who is Evankhell!? Why did Lero Ro say Bam became shinsu!? Why does this guy with the wings on his back look like a problem!? What is Yuri's play here? I need to knowwwwww
Spoilers (Differences between this episode and the manwha)... In the manwha isn't said that Bam become shinsu itself, but the shinsu attacked of his own will to protect Bam
Not spoiler tho : When Leroro says "Bam himself became shinsu", he didnt turn into shinsu actually... In the webtoon he says "it wasnt manipulation of shinsu, it seemed as if the shinsu attacked on its own volition" Its metaphorical, meaning that what baam did was beyond simply manipulating shinsu.
solanobl you see the problem comes from translation. Perhaps that’s what was originally there but Webtoon translated it differently. Or it went from Korean > Japanese > English (when subbing the anime) in which even more is lost in translation.
Yh saw shibitsu struggel on the shinsu Wall so Not everybody can Pass the Wall easily so the 3 ppl in the bag would prob struggel to get trough thats why the bag got stuck i guess
Im trying to avoid the comments so i dont get spoiled about the show, but cant let pass that the reason Khun's bag got stuck in the shinsu wall was because of the people in there, nice
@@isabellablanc4716 Lol dont, you run the risk of becoming someone who complains about everything that is not the same as the webtoon. Safe the read for when Season 1 has ended
@@dontghostbanmeplz8788 You are right though. I have even started thinking that they should have stuck with the webtoon with some scenes but then again it is because of the anime that i startting reading the webtoon, so i won't hate it per se.
@@isabellablanc4716 its the biggest complaint amongst korean viewers they dont like how different in ti and at the same time they dont like how unrefined the animation is
Now his bag not passing through the water in ep2 makes sense, they were in there the whole time. And during the door test, the tester mentioned his bag was heavy.
@@ThorneTK Reminder that these guys , who by the way also " watched the same shows " didn't get that one little details . so no , it's a valid thing to point out since it's not obvious unless you rewatched the previous episodes
In the webtoon Baam didn't snap. He passed out after being hit in the head by hwaryun's spear thingy. But it's cool to see that they did something different though. I've read the webtoon before so seeing different in the anime brings out this element of surprise even for just a moment.
When they say something goes against the tower laws, they don't mean like it's illegal they mean like regulars literally and physically cannot do it, just a btw
Kxrma you are Right, i am probably at almost every popular reaction video, but only comment some chosen ones like this, jake, blind wave and re animated
InfiniteVegetables I am not directly spoiling though , I have only seen the anime and not read the webtoon but only seen people flaming Rachel so I just thought „hey it might be fun to join in“. ^^
Things to watch out for: - the red-haird girl - Anaak (why she was called an impostor) - the next test - What will Princess Yuri do if she found out that Anaak is holding the Black March?
They said who Evankhell was. She's the "Administrator" of that floor or in charge of that 2nd floor. When they passed the 1st test it said aboard Evankhell's mothership as well.
@@SilverYPheonix Man's not a simp I think if Rachel was a boy he would still act the same way. I know people will call him a simp cuz of the meme and shit but is a bit unfair on Bam
Yo, normally I skip straight to the actual "reacting" part of reaction videos, but on this channel I always watch the whole thing because I chuckle every damn time y'all call out the series name
I read somewhere that the Black March had nothing to do with what Bam just did. It was completely Bam’s ability. Apparently the anime just added the Black March into the scene but it wasn’t initially there.
It doesn't really affect the rest of the story so it sounds a bit cooler and more dramatic. That's probably why they change some things from the webtoon to the anime
When Bam let out that burst of Shinsu the Black March didn't stop him at all, that scene with the Black March was after Bam used Shinsu and the Black March appearing is anime original. Also, it is not stated that Bam became Shinsu in the webtoon instead, Lero Ro said that it looked like the Shinsu acted on its own.
Yeah but in the anime he clearly says that he turned into Shinsu. Like the subs weren't mistranslated. Either the makers of the anime got the translation from the webtoon wrong (which is dumb and I don't think that'd happen) OR the author wants changes in the anime when it comes to things in the webtoon that they want changed... maybe story is slightly being changed with the author's wishes?
yeah I believe I saw something that SIU put a little input on the anime cuz he didnt like some stuff in how he presented certain elements in the beginning. makes sense considering what actually happens in that Shinsu scene with Baam is horribly told and presented tbh.
@@chickenbiskit3620 to be honest this changes are making the anime better than the weebtoon there are some changes that I didnt like but most of them are just making it better
It’s a huge deal that he blinded a crimson witch by the way, since they can see the future…sort of. Which means she knew that the attack was gonna happen, but still either couldn’t avoid the attack or her she has to take it for her end goal.
@@maskedlegend4660 They explain it in the webtoon early on. not sure if they're going to explain it here, it doesn't seem like it. He is called 25th Baam because he was born on the 25th night (Baam literally means night in Korean, but it also means chestnut, which is why Headon tell him it sounds tasty when they first meet). AFAIK this is the only thing Baam knows about himself before meeting Rachel.
After reading the manhwa, this moment didn't hit me as hard as I'd hoped. Quite enjoyable to see people witnessing it for the first time. Hype through empathy.
If you remember on the first episode, Evan, the dwarf companion of Yuri, asked her, "then, do you believe he'll bring change to the tower?". This line has some connection to Leroro's and Hansung Yu's conversation, "we conduct test to expel those who have thought and power that can brim harm to the tower". Leroro further stated, "that power is certainly a threat to the tower". What is the connection to all these statements? 'Change' can also be achieved through destruction. And Bam has the power to be a threat to this tower as a whole. It's like Yuri knows that Bam certainly has the power to bring change to the tower and probably the reason why she was in the first floor when Bam entered the tower.
Kingdom 3 for historical drama and epic hype moments, some historical army tactics that are hella interesting, but overall actually doesn't have much logic in the fights (armor = butter). Still, great production value and you can actually jump right in without seeing prior seasons. Gleipnir for some really well-done handthrowing mixed in with hints of violent, hardcore depraved hentai without the sex, just the brutality. I heard good things about BNA. Princess Connect Re:Dive apparently has Konosuba vibes and is directed by a director of Konosuba. Oh, by the way, check out the Konosuba movie that came out! Since we're on the same topic about past animes, ID:Invaded was a top tier anime that finished last season on the level of Tower of God and better than anything I've mentioned here. Re:Zero Director's Edition Ends on an extra cutscene that sents shockwaves through anime-onlys who saw it. Assassin Creed returns with Valhalla, where trans-profession Viking realize they're actually stealthy assassins trapped in the bodies of loud Vikings. Oh wait, it's not an anime? My bad.
@@seriouscoffeecup5516 The konosuba movie was amazing. I'll definitely check out princess connect re:dive. 🤣🤣 true about assassin's creed. I'm actually excited for a viking assassin's creed. I forgot BNA came out. It seems cool. You can tell it has Kill la Kill vibes. Glenipir (pretty sure I spelled it wrong) sounds interesting. I'll check those out. Thanks for the suggestions
They are currently doing the test on Evankhell’s Mothership, so Evankhell has to be a super important character in some way. Bam became shinsu is probably due to some innate ability he has, I mean he wasn’t affected by Lero Ro’s shinsu wave. Also, he’s an irregular so in that sense he’s just like that Urek Mazino guy in that both didn’t make a contract with the test administrator in order to use shinsu. So this means that Bam is terribly OP or he will be in the future. Very excited to see how this series plays out, really want to know more about that Mazino guy.
YOOOO that reveal at 12:53 tho????? To quote a great man, "My Fuckin chest/head/_____ hurts." When I saw that Khun put all those people into the bag it made me remember how his bag got stuck during Lero Ro's Shinsui wall test. It might have been because of them. It's been such a long time since I read this, I can barely remember anything about the plot. It's nice though to go in sorta fresh and see this without constantly mentally comparing it to what I read.
Simp: Dedicating for the cake you won't be getting any piece of. Baam: Been in a fuckin cave before meeting the first person he ever knew, Rachel, who became a mother figure to him before she disappeared. I mean it makes sense, the simp-like shit he's doing. But he ain't even simping tho. It felt more like a kid seeing a family member of his getting hurt and automatically just jumping in to save the one he cares for.
i am not going to lie. when Khun sat next to Bam my brain was like: "ok, this has potential to have shipping material" when Khun leaned on Bam my brain was like: "i like where this is going" when Khun rested his head on Bam's lap my brain was like: "Holy shit i can feel the shippers losing it right now!" Khun with a ponytail just works! it works wonders! if Bam x Rachel does not work out/is not that kind of relationship then Bam x Khun is the best alternative this episode sealed the deal for Khun to be my favorite character so far, he was pulling mad flexes last and this episode
Catching up..... So that explains why Khun at a little trouble pulling his bag through the wall of shinsu. the three people he picked up were in his bag
The dialog that was cut out between Evan and Yuri that should have been in Episode 1 was about irregulars (Urek was first mentioned here) and what their significance in relation to the tower was. A lot of people seem to think it was not needed, but honestly it's what made me super hyped about Baam and his possible potential in the future.
Did you know, since you already seen the whole season, that By the end of season 1 of the WEBTOON and the anime, Endorsi was flirting with Bam. She told Bam that after he succeeds in the administrators test, then he would have to go on a date with her, even though Bam wasn’t really trying to date her, as compensation for her helping train him, this was big because Bam was the first person she really opened up to besides her niece. Anyway, they cut this part out of the anime sadly, since this has a big part in the future of the story, since Endorsi remains cold and distant to anyone outside of Bams friend circle for years, in fact she also declines every offer for dating or marriage proposals since Bam “died”. This was because she was not willing to be hurt again by allowing herself to be in a romantic relationship and because she didn’t think anyone could fill the hole left by Bam. This was also tied in by her asking her niece if her mom was happy with her father, if love was worth giving up everything for. This is what led to her deciding to be friends with her niece and perusing a relationship with Bam, which sets her self up to be hurt so badly when Bam “dies”. Maybe this will touched up in season 2 in the anime, but who knows. They did keep Yuri’s feelings for Bam in the anime though. It’s kinda of funny, all of these princesses and female nobles keep falling for Bam, which is kinda sad for them and Bam, since Bam is stuck persuing Rachel. Rachel… I can’t really say anything about her, since it would include so many spoilers, but the other stuff was stuff they cut out in the anime and may not include in the second season, but I hope they do since it’s a whole motivation and plot point for Endorsi.
I love this thing that ToG does with the character designs. Make them look all plain and simple just so you'll think that none of them will stick around for much more, and then keep them for the entire season lol
and apparently that was the reason why khun's bag got stuck during the 'passing through shinsoo wall' test given by test examiner/ranker lero ro on second episode...
12:53 You're an idiot, you're so dumb AHAHAHHAHAHAH GOD I love your interactions. And with the quarantine and everything it just makes me miss my friends a whole lot more xD
BTW at the very beginning scene where Rak easily one shot everyone down like WTF?? is ANIME ONLY (they skip the real fight).... In the webtoon Rak and Khun fight them together.... Anime cut them because they are fodders anyway Anime try to focused more on Rachel's Team and the masked chick
Jahad didn't make those.. The 13 month series is a key to the 135th Floor they just divide... + Jahad is not a god his the king of the tower thats all... the god of the tower is still a mystery.. And Its Not Phantanimun
The Jackie chan adventures chant and that 3rd rate duelist with a fourth rate deck edit from last week legit has me excited for an abridged version of this anime.
Theres one thing they talked about in the web comic that's not in episode one which is that they are not even in the tower yet,all of this is qualifying for the tower in the first place
They either just trolling due to spoilers in comments or they know what happened already. My bet is on first half. But still though other than rachel running away from baam cause she wants to see the stars... I dont see why people be hating on rachel other than spoilers and shit.
The administrator asked if there was anyone who had thoughts about power to bring harm to the tower. Bam obviously has the raw power, but he doesn't really care about the tower. So he isn't actively trying to bring harm or anything to the tower, just to find Rachel which he did. The test is trying to weed out the people who want power to take control of the tower or destroy it.
As to explaining shinsu it can be it's not just blue it can be other things as well it's just that raw shinsu is blue it can be fire, air, light such as bam used in this episode even the air they breathe is shinsu shinsu is literally the life force of the tower
Good on you Lupa for noticing that Anaak was holding the Black March because I didn't notice that when I first watched the episode. I'm guessing Bam is going to wake up with no memory of what happened lol. I really want to see what the Black March can do because we've seen the what Green April can do. I'm also excited to find out what the names are for the different months and what's up with the 13 month weapon. It kind of confused me when the navigator guy said that Bam is strong as if they knew this all along but when they first met Bam they said they didn't sense strength or a crazy ability in him. Were they lying or did they see him turn into Shinsu from where they were?
