First unboxing for 2024 shoebox packing season! Thank you, all, for clicking by my channel so early in the year! Hopefully, I can provide you some new and fresh ideas for packing shoeboxes this year - that’s always my goal. I get so many great ideas by watching others’ Unboxings 🤓

Let the unboxings begin!! Yay! 👏👏 The Squishmallows are so adorable. Perfect for a little girl to hug on. The pencil pouch really caught my eye, too. Very fun and colorful. I think she will love having her own book and a new outfit, as well. Looking forward to all of your 2024 unboxings. TFS ❤🦌 🐇

❤ Thank you and God bless you Val, for showing and sharing your wonderful unboxing for this beautiful and bright young girl.I notice the McDonald's toy/figurine of Bambi is almost similar to the one on her T- Shirt 👚 I am confident she will be delighted with her lovely gifts sent to her with love 💝 🦌 🐰 🦨 Val, you and I think another OCC packer inspired me to also leave a blank card and I just simply wrote letters to the children.I also wanted to add Val that it is so wonderful to hear your voice. 💓💞💕

Yay!!! You are back! I’ll be back soon! My puppy is keeping me busy! Love those squishmallows! You are right. They are just perfect for shoeboxes! Her shirt is darling and loved how you matched it up to the shorts. This was a lovely box to start the year with! I’m looking forward to watching more! Thanks for sharing friend! Haha. Well I do fill the boxes to the brim, just trying to reduce the overflow and keep the box lids from bending and tearing and trying to make the boxes pack up a little easier.

Great theme, Val! Who doesn't love Thumper and Bambi? Funny, I've been working on a Bambi one for awhile and still not done but love seeing yours. The plushies were the best finds! Perfect coloring book. So nice of you to give your McDonald toy. Love the owl pouch. I have the same Disney book from CVS as well. Great shirt and bottoms. So cool to include the Bambi stocking. Happy New Year Val! This is a cute box for Miss 2-4. The 2 plush and the outfit are the Big Wows! of this box. I love the pencil case and how it matches her doodle / sticker book with its rainbow like patterns. I also agree on the issue of over stuffed boxes. But, as you have shown, a shoebox does not have to be bursting at the seams to be well-rounded and full of fun. TFS!

Oh thanks, Fiona! Yes, I ended up with a few rainbows in the box - even in the storybook. Sometimes I struggle when I know I have to take something out that just will not fit, but there’s always another box to pack it in, or else, send as filler lol

I got so excited to see a notification that you posted a video. I love this box! I agree, finding Bambi theme items is tough. I have a few that I’ve been collecting but not enough to start a box yet. I will someday though and yours gave me a few ideas. Wasn’t it a great feeling to share the first unboxing? Love your insights as well, they are helpful and thoughtful! Bambi is such a sweet theme for a little one. Honestly, I probably would not have had enough for a good themed box if I hadn’t come across the McD’s toy and the Christmas stocking, which I have had for years and years - since my kids were little. You reminded me that I need to get some old navy balls too! Thank you for the info about repacking overstuffed boxes. I’ve often wondered how people in the PC get all the stuff I pack back in. I’m taking good advice this year too. TFS!

I struggled a bit with a couple boxes I inspected last year at PC. It’s great to see them filled up. But, overfilling is sometimes difficult. I had a few quarters after having a garage sale - so I used them for the bounce balls at Old Navy. I just wish I had gotten more pink ones lol. Thanks for watching my first 2024 video, Jeannie

Val, I'm an admitted box stuffer. I include the disclaimer from Blessings in a Shoebox about no prohibited items on top. Do shoeboxes have to be checked even if a disclaimer is on top of the contents?

I would still do a quick inspection but it would be helpful for sure😊 I definitely like to fill the boxes to the brim - just trying not to overstuff .
