People today commenting on Debbie goes to Dallas, have to understand that this was the 70s. No internet. If you wanted to watch this movie, you had to go a dark place across town or buy the VHS tape. For my generation she is a legend, like DB Copper. My generation will remember her. She needs to write a book about the experiences in 70s porn industry.

I actually met her (and an entourage of characters and set workers) in upstate NY in the early 80's. I was 15 or so at the time. I hung out with her and her friends quite a bit and I knew her as Barb. She was a very cool and relatable chick. They were in my small town filming a "Dukes of Hazard" type movie. She was 'seeing' my friend's older brother while there. The whole town went ape and did everything they possible to assist with the filming. Some of the locals actually got bit parts in the film. Many of the indoor scenes were filmed at my friend's place (a former Catskills resort). After a little bit, the true nature of the film was 'revealed'. It was, and still is to this day, an embarrassment for the town! To my knowledge, the film died and never got to print.
