Bamboo and Resin Vase 

Thanks for viewing. Today we have a small Bamboo and Resin vase. I try to include something locally sourced in my projects, so decided to use to create a core out of a log that I picked up by the coast in South West England.
I didn't explain within the video, but after the initial turn of the core I tested the moisture content of the log. It was quite high, so I used a microwave oven to drive out some of the moisture. I quite like the effect of bamboo and resin and am quite pleased with the result and I'm a novice when it comes to this.
