Ashok Dahal i use a stone boring bit made for metal working attached to a electric drill. The fast rotation of the drill heats up the stone hot enough to burn through the node while spining. This is my Perfered method. Burn curing from the inside while boring the hole prevents future cracking. My second method if there is no electricity is to first knock out node with metal bar or pipe then heat up a pipe red hot with torch or fire kiln. twist while pushing through nodes. This process may have to be repeated a few times Please be gentle . Use the power of the tool, dont force anything. .. Ever Clean the rest with sand paper taped to metal bar. You can oil your bamboo flute as often as you like. Walnut oil is a good non toxic solution. For more durable applications use tung oil. As for fixing the Flute... It hard to say there is always a way to fix a Flute. Narrowing done whats wrong with it can be tricky ;)

Ok will it looks like someone tried to sand it down. It is a five hole flute,four holes plus a back thumb hole.
