I wanna print like 30 of these and connect them together and use it as a blanket lol tht would be sick! Someone do it! I only have a voron 0 and would take me a year probably lol
@@VivaLaChance most definitely! I can only imagine you may have some issues with the print getting stuck to the fep film due to the high surface area, so some tilting/supports may be in order. And obviously you can't have the two-tone. FDM certainly is a lot cleaner. Main advantage resin may have over this is speed of print.
Weiiiird… I just made this but in the opposite color scheme.. orange tpu and this blue that transitions into white when heated that looks exactly like yours.. my tpu peeled off tho and revealed the top :o
I wonder, if there is a geometry that can move like this, yet is 100% dense. Without the plates, just the backbone. Would make awesome flexible bodyarmor if made from steel or something. Assuming you could achieve wire-EDM-like tolerances.
hey really like your vids, I've been saving up for a p1p for a little while now and am finally getting close to getting one! is there any way you can show your setting I love hoe smooth your prints are
@@VivaLaChance yup I just realized that earlier and ordered it! and wow it is hard to believe you didn't really change anything your prints look amazing! keep up the good work!
@@1stHalf full price is still worth it for the printer. The AMS to me isn't worth it, but it others it is. I'd just get the printer and get the AMS later if you decide you want it.
I think this is what SpaceX might have to do to solve their tile falling off problem on Starship, make them interlock with each other as well as be fixed to the hull.
Any time I print anything this small it's stringies between everything EVERYWHERE how the hell can I avoid this? I lowered temp. Slowed the prints to well below the printers normal and lowered temp of extruder but still stringies
What are your retraction settings on this my printer would fail, not managed to dial it in for lots of small parts, also maybe any other useful settings like minimum print timebor whatever it is
Bro the p1p is a pre tuned press a button and go machine. People like me and you with cheap ended 3’s have to upgrade and dail it in ourselves through lots of research a stock ender 3 with a stock Cura profile will give you hell with any small parts or features and will almost always clog at some point. Those fancy core xy machines have been tuned very well out of the box hence why it’s 5 times the cost
Table/plate mat, workbench mat, pu on anything that you want to preserve whatever is underneath, make it out of a high heat filamnt like abs, asa, pc and use it as a mat that you can put hot pots and pans on or baking sheets.... I mean the list could go on and on. Either way tho not everything needs a "use case" ive printed crap just because i wanted to print something and i guarantee you have too lol
