Bamco needs to fix this PROBLEM..

What's funny is that if you look at the opponent's recovery animation it makes sense why Paul's 2 doesn't hit. In Tekken 7, the head is tilted backwards but in 8 it's forward lol.

Seems like the oppoenet on hit with the first attack "duck" that and that why it whiffs. In T7 as shown the character stands still for the 2nd hit to connect. Knowing Bamco, they'll just look at this video and they'll go like: "Interesting, nerf Devil Jin".

They really changed the hurt animation and it made the follow up not work, sounds bout right

this change game with the 1.05 paul buff where it mentioned ws3 hit animation was changed to fit the more + frames it got from the move. this is a byproduct of it

Seems like it works pretty accurately. It's a pretty neat "hurt" animation. However it's still just a video game💀 they'll probably not address it, but if they do... It's the Tekken Shop getting updated

This problem actually happens with a lot of mid-high strings on character's back. Jack's df1,2 string does the same thing.

This is a problem that I've just gotten used to at this point, playing as Lili and trying to attack after sidestepping. Or if I'm trying to mix-up my opponent at the wall

The ws3 animation in t7 didn’t make the opponent lean forward, now in t8 for some reason the opponent leans forward when you hit ws3 on back turned opponents. Why did it change? Who knows

Afair you can delay the second hit and it connects

I doubt they’ll change that. The hurt animation is universal it would have to be a huge update to essentially buff one single characters move to work properly

Have you noticed that Paul's Deathfist does less damage after hit engager?

It whiffs because of new hitboxes. This move have property from Tekken 7. Since this game characters have new hitboxes, this move just whiff because hitbox of this move is not used to new one.

Phoenix Smasher Not a wall splat! UF 1+2 Wall Splats but B 1+4 correctly angled still doesn't splat? Incomplete Somersault doesn't combo end or Unblockable for joke move?

Yeah I hate that so much. Tho I have figured out that you can delay the second hit and it will connect abit more consistently, but still It shouldn't be a thing to begin with honestly.

After seeing that Bandai Namco did nothing against plugging, I’ve given up on it, and I’ve given up on tekken because of that. It’s not fun when it’s an open platform for toxic ki charging t bagging pluggers
