Blimey Ger. Up bright and early today. Wasn’t expecting any update at all so nice to see a post from you. We don’t have a LB so we need to keep Hjelde. Surprised Bamford is going. Who will want him? I don’t want Dennis as a replacement. He’s not a prolific goalscorer. Only 2 goals and 3 sissy’s last year in 24 games. Not good enough IMO. Go for Piroe or Gyokeres. Willie was vet poor for Italy. Italian press really slagged him off - 4.5/10. Hope we get some news about manager before weekend.
@@stevebrown8019 do agree although in his first season in prem for Watford he got 10 goals 6 assists in league which isn’t bad numbers at all playing for a side who went down that season but he’d need to find that form any signing is a gamble I guess. Piroe sounds like Leicester are in for him n gyokeres I can’t see staying in the championship.. if we acted faster we should have gone in for piroe and got him in soon as window opened

I don't think it's outrageous to think we could keep Adams, Cry and Gnonto. build the side round these three and we'll go straight back up, the money you'd get from their sales will be of no major benefit , not if you sign championship players to replace em, false economy, you go up with a squad of sub standard players you have to move out again.

You can't blame him some of our fan are toxic as fook. Yes, he hasn't done well, mainly down to injuries, but not really down to him when all our managers have refused to replace him, ending up with him keep getting injured
@indianjoe52 Just not true that missed pen wouldn't have saved us, and the open goal he missed, he was off side, so it wouldn't have stood. But it doesn't stop our fans with the hate towards him when if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have made it to the prem. Still, he needs to move on, and so do we. I will always appreciate what he did for Leeds.
@@rossitt08 Think about it, if he had scored the penalty against Newcastle we would have been 2-0 up, they were playing poorly and we would more than likely have won, we drew 2-2. So he cost us 2 points in that game. then he missed an absolute sitter against Leicester which meant we drew 1-1 instead of winning 2-1, so that's another 2 points he cost us. There's 4 points which would have kept us in the Premier League.

Wrong about Rodrigo. That's not how release clauses work. No matter how many clubs get involved with Rodrigo, the amount we get for him wouldn't ever be above the release clause. Say for arguments sake that it's a 3m release clause, then no matter how many other clubs get involved, they would only ever have to go to 3m. Since any 3m bid has to be accepted by Leeds, every team interested would put in their 3m bid, then that would trigger the right for any club meeting the release clause to discuss personal terms with Rodrigo, then finally the player would choose the team he wants to go to. There are no extra stages or privileges that a team could get by offering us more money. It therefore makes no sense to go any higher. A team could offer 100m and nothing would change. They would get no advantage. We can't 'pick preference' to a team willing to offer more. Rodrigo would still be able to sign for any club offering 3m, so again, why would any club offer us more, when there is literally no upside in doing so? Crazy how some people still can't work this out with release clauses. It's common sense when you think about it.
Emmanuel Dennis is one of those players who always looks good and doubtless he'd look the business for us too. What he would be very unlikely to do is score goals. I think there'd be much better buys.
He doesn't have much Championship experience btw. He played for Watford in the Prem and only got a couple of games in the Champo before moving on to Forest.
I'mresigned to us losing Rodrigo, Summerville, Harrison and probably Gnonto but we have plenty of other attacking options so no major worries with that outcome. What does bother me is the lack of DM cover. If Adams does go then we need a midfield battler like John McGinn to come in and give us some bite in midfield. Seems like we are also losing Roca and Forshaw from DM so who else can we get ? Would it be worth trying to bring Johnny Howson back from Boro for much much needed Championship DM experience ?

Lets hope Bamford does go, we need fresh blood in attack, preferably those who know how to score a sitter and has a very poor, Pass to Opposing Goal Keeper success rate per game Dennis to replace Bamford LMAO......... scored 2 in 27.... Even Bamford managed double that in as many games. We need a striker who scored 20 a season consistantly, not someones reject they'll sell for big bucks
@@Iiiiiii764 who? Bamford or Dennis ? Because if you look at his actual record, Dennis played 19 games last season scoring 2, at the time of writing I heard 27 games, I presumed it was referred to Dennis.... but I may have been incorrect
Yep 10 goals and 6 assists in the prem when Watford went down isn’t bad at all. And on the other 2 we are too slow seems Leicester are going in for piroe and gyokeres I doubt will be staying in championship. If we had ambition we’d have been in for piroe soon as the window opened.
@@JamieLowe-xp1le We are too quick to say this player or that player is not good enough for the league but if there in a team who is expected to finish in the relegation zone and have no possession in games its going to be difficult for most players to stand out
I still think Bamford has a role to play for us in the Championship - he may not be the main man anymore, but he will get us goals in the coming season.
