Great fight to watch ,good heart shown by both,, but neither will have long careers fighting like that especially at a higher level . Too much damage taken .
Yes. And no real answer, either defensively or offensively. Just wild, inaccurate, looping punches. He had a punchers chance, and was willing to risk a lifetime punch-drunk for the chance. It's a fool's courage. A young man's courage. Not the kind of courage that comes from overcoming fear, but an insane fearlessness, that I'm not sure is courage.
Sometimes you have to protect someone against their own foolishness. Also, in the ref's position, I'd rather call one too early than spend the rest of my life worrying about the one I let go on too long. I can live with ending a fight too soon. I couldn't live with letting one go on too long. These are tough judgement calls to make.
im not sure that was a good time to stop the fight. He looked like he was working for a take down and getting elbowed but he didnt look out of it at all.
He wasn't intelligently defending himself from the barrage of elbows. He wasn't going for a takedown. He was rocked and went into a takedown position to protect his face and to try to recover like fighters will do. Good stoppage.
Why do they all lie about their heights 🤣🤣 5’11 my bollox. Kiefer is smaller than McGregor whos 5’9, and I’ve seen him in person he defo qualifies as a midget. Dream big Kiefer.
Take that BDK elbow on your backhead 5/6 times and then tell me again its a bad time to stop the fight. all done correctly, plant was about to get serious damage bro so as a ref you HAVE to stop there.
