My brothers were notorious for leaving bananas on the counter for too long just to request me to make them banana bread. I've slowly adapted their habit and love to enjoy a fresh slice with a cup of tea for breakfast in the mornings. This loaf was in the process of being baked when my brother, who was traveling to visit me the next day from out of town, texted and requested if I could make him some. Serendipitously, I replied that I was one step ahead of him and that the banana bread was already halfway to the oven. We may live in different states, but our mutual love for a classic still remains. Noshejaan!
