Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward - Bananarama - are interviewed by Eamonn Holmes on GMTV, talking about their new single More, More, More, amongst other topics.
im 30, and if i look back at the 80's I visualize Bananarama as part of it, and I wouldnt change them memories for the workd. They can sing, and I think they are awesome
How the f*ck did she get on national television? GMTV must have been skint or had no idea what to look for in a presenter. She's unspeakably bad. Eamonn is tolerable and has gone on to bigger and better things.
+Tour Leader Luke i know right. I mean, its been about 2 decades now. Them three can meet up, talk and be friends again. No, i won't wish for their comeback as three Bananarama even just for a concert (unless they really want to, not because 'for the fan'). But at least i wanna see them patching things up and throw away all those shit back from the 80s..and just hang out and have fun.
They did patch things up. They done a version of ABBA's Waterloo for the UK TV show Eurotrash in 1998. Then in 2002, they performed Venus at the London club G.A.Y to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first hit. And there's lots of pictures of them together on twitter, including one with all three with Boy George at Christmas from 2014.
They did made up with Siobhan some time in 2000 but i doubt they'll get back together as a trio again are Keren and Sara done making albums? If I'm not mistaken their last album was in 2006
What a pair of bastards Eamon Holmes and this lady presenter are here. They really pressed the covers thing which really shows how unresearched they was about Bananarama , as Sara said the majority of their songs have been written by themselves. I think Bananarama got the last laugh this past year when they did a sell out original line up tour, they are national treasures and are very much loved and more original than any girl group that came afterwards for sure.
Keren looking like a cute secretary, who made it into the pop world and is absolutely delighted with this. For me, she destroied every creative and alternative force of this exceptional girl group. Siobhan and Sarah, even Jacquie have been very creative. Keren led the group into a bubble pop duo..
If I'm not mistaken they performed as a trio again with Siobhan for one night only in 2002 but i thought it was kind of pathetic because it was at a gay club there one of the best girl groups ever arguably the best of the 80's couldn't they get a better gig a better place to perform as a trio again? i just thought they were better than that
