I remember band camp like it was yesterday and everything bout my first year in the BOOM

This has been very educational!!!!! Thanks to ALL the SWAC Bands and their staff.... I think these kids will be better from this. To have a chance to get a college education,travel the country,and play music is great!! Long live HBCU's

No band can touch JSU at all.Too much history behind the band.Mr.Davis left a legacy at JSU and he influenced all the directors at JSU.Dr. Lewis is a schizophrenic as he said before,lol.I also like Dr.Dowell Davis,the director before Lewis.Dr.Jimmie gonna be missed with that powerful voice of 'The Boom"! I think Ronardo Murray is leading the band now and he got them showing out.
