Interested in pipes and drums, maybe joining a band, but don't know where to start? A peek into the dark side? The unique big sound of a pipe band is both attractive and intimidating. I'll help ask some of the questions for you, and answer them too! What kinds of bands, what equipment and commitment, what can I expect of myself? I'll use the Saanich Peninsula Pipe Band as an example, but the info in this video can be applied to any band. I've left out details like costs, travel options, competition etc as this really varies by area, band, and your own interests.
