Want Live session players in your vst songs, Band in a Box has the mojo. I test the bb plugin with superior drummer and ez bass. Support 41 Fingers, Buy me a coffee get access to building block midi files. / 41fingers
You did a great job with covering this. Excellent work. It's actually quite a smooth workflow once you know the tricks that you covered in this video. Thanks again.
I am very impressed by this lesson. I have tried to use the vst in Ableton but failed miserably. Now I have created a groove that pleases me. Thankyou so much. Subed love UK
I think you explained things very clearly and well.I really appreciate the time you have taken, and I learned a great deal, Thank you so much and keep up the good work. Mike,....in England!
This is seriously underrated software. And there is maybe only one bloke on RU-vid making regular videos on it (other than the developer), and he isn't even a musician or producer- more of a karaoke dude. I'd love to see a lot more videos on it by actual producers.
ottimo lavoro. hai insegnato in maniera semplice una cosa importante , che nessuno mi aveva spiegato prima e che agevola il lavoro di arrangiamento di molto. Grazie!!
Very nice. Love Biab. If your DAW supports midi clipboard, just open Biab in stand alone mode. Drag and drop midi to anywhere in the ap and it will import the file. If you drag and drop from scaler it's not precise but you can correct it. From Ezkey's it works perfect. As a last resort export or drop file from DAW. Go to import in file menu in biab. There is a whole wizard to derive chords from midifiles. Biab is just so underestimated, easy on the surface, but so deep, DAW, sampler, notation, the list goes on and on. Looking forward to whats up next.
Fingers, you are my scaler guy. But you do BIAB also?? What a surprise. Good for you for taking on this Demo - BIAB can be challenging. In fact, 2021 made some very significant advances in the BIAB-VST which make the work flow a bit smoother. But of course it is still BIAB.
hi great video Thanks for posting one thing you might have overlooked>: your cubase first bar starts at bar zero while the BB starts at bar one, nevertheless your fix worked and its all good .. cheers and thank you from your newest subscriber 🙂
Very well done this video. I found it very practice based. BIB lost it’s robotic touch with the real players. The possibility to use it partially is really mind blowing. Thank you Sir.
A problem comes when you want to create a song that progressively speeds up or down. Where the song does so you necessarly have to use midi notes and not wave files from Band in a box. Or you have to set the speed change in Band in a box before exporting its generated wave files (is it possible to let the song *progressively* change its speed in Band in a box?)
hi, That is a really good question. I have a feeling that BB could adapt somewhat as changing the bpm of a wave file has come a long way. but worth a good test for sure.
Great Video, can i transport chords from Scaler into Band in a Box ? I guess just works to save midi from scaler to drive and than import to Band in a Box ! Or is they a other easy way ? If someone know it, can just be you ;-)
I would get the basic one and you can always upgrade to a bigger package later. Xmas time a good time to get a deal and upgrade to the latest version. The ultra pak is not cheap so its good to try it out first.
Sorry but the BIAB VST plugin just doesn't work, I followed every step to the T, the only thing inside that plugin that can be changed is entering the chord sequences, and that's it, the tempo, signature, and even adding a real track just doesn't work, nothing can be added or changed, and I have both VST2 and VST3 plugins, and neither of them work inside a DAW. What I do, is to use BIAB to create a song, then click the DAW mode, which shrinks the UI then open a DAW, and create a new project, set the DAW to the same tempo as BIAB, then drag and drop each instrument track from BIAB to the DAW, THAT! is the ONLY way it will work, but using BIAB as a VST it WILL NOT work.
thx for your great job, but I would never buy it again. I did have an older version, basic prized, only to realize in the end when it came to upgrading to the next years version that in general it offers too much country, too much folk, too much Nashville stuff, which was even confirmed by one of their helplines. It is outdated when it comes to producing pop/electro. And investing in their prizey add-ons won´t satisfy.
I'm gonna have to unsubscribe from your channel. Every time i watch a new video, I get gear envy, lol. The last Band In A Box I had was 2008. Man, it sure has grown up a lot.
