*Alone* is off their 3rd studio album, and is also the first time that their management company allowed *BAND-MAID* to add a song, that they wrote themself. After this event *BAND-MAID* started writing their own material. ---------- You are never *Alone* rocking to *BAND-MAID* ----------

Saiki throwing the mic stand away in first second can be seen as a statement..This was first song their Record company accept which was written( song & lyrics) by ladies themselves. Finally free..After that..They have done all the music and lyrics.

Great reaction and yes, these ladies are the best thing to happen to rock in a very long time. They are leading the way into the future with the best rock in the world. Thanks, Lucie! Band-Maid songs have more great riffs, hooks, solos, vocal melodies & harmonies, and rhythmic energy per square inch than any other rock band.

Me likee Band-Maid too! Me likee lots and lots! This is the first song composed by Kanami that the management allowed them to release. She's more or less composed every song since while Miku has written the majority of the lyrics. Enjoying your (clearly impressed and appreciative of their musicianship) reactions.

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well, look what they did. Alone's somewhat sad, heavy, yet empowering story (topics Miku's known for writing about), against Kanami's up-tempo, complex, yet rockin' music, is quintessential Band-Maid. BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles, imxo! Thx, Lucie!

The pre-chorus harmonies are next level, and Misa's funky bass lines are God-tier. Akane's drumming - best back beat and drum fills in a song ever. Mincho's solo - note perfect, and exactly what is required for the song. Genius writing. And, of course, Saiki's velvety chocolate vocal performance driving the whole song. A wonderful pop punk serving from the incredible Maids, off Brand New Maid (2016), a brilliant EP/album that I consider to be the companion piece to New Beginnings (the seminal 2015 release, where they go all out hard rock). Everyone should do themselves a favour and buy both!
