The video (not the song) is a tribute to Freddie Mercury. The band re-create many scenes from the film "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the MV. You cut off the end - it was a black screen that was inscribed "You are a legend" - for Freddy.
Miku's guitar inlays are definitely not plastic! The inlays are real pearl. The guitar is a Zemaitis Custom Shop The "Portrait" Pearl Front - Ring Chess. Cost is $10,000 if you want one!
@@Bekka_Noyb She gets them free. She has at least five different models plus two Miku Kobato signature models she helped design (one is her Flappy Pigeon and a recent new one not yet released), and at least one acoustic.
‘That's your benchmark, people’ It couldn't be more true than that! The more I listen to them and other musicians' opinions about their music - the more I do, the more I realise how innovative and amazingly talented all five of them are. It's actually quite incredible. And honestly. I can't help but see them ending up as legends one day. Among the greatest hard rockers to ever walk in a pair of shoes. To me they are that good.
They are generational talents. The only problem is that they are 5 Japanese women in maid outfits and not dudes in jeans singing in English. If they were, they would be heralded as the best band in the world. That being said, these amazing ladies are battlers and they will not stop until they have crashed through all those barriers to take their rightful crown. Great reaction as usual guys. Rock on 🤘
The Band-Maid awesomeness "Bubble" is expanding across the land... and that's a good thing because, other than their incredible music, to me they represent decency and joy -- things the world can always use more of. Thx, Guys!
You'll be strugglin to find a bad one ey. Can I suggest "Awkward" and/or "Matchless Gum". There's no official clips (they are on other sites tho) but don't be afraid to react to just the audio ... I'm in a similar age group to you guys with similar taste in music and I'm damn sure you both will love them both haha. Sooo many hidden gems without clips waiting to be discovered.
Yeah we try to keep to video. If people are up to just the audio tracks alone we totally would consider that. Thank you for watching and for the comment. I will run it by the guys. HORNS UP!
I think the Maids have shown they can pretty much do any type of rock. I bet they could do ska and southern rock and sound awesome. Hell, I'd absolutely love hear Kanami do surf rock, ala Dick Dale.
BAND-MAID proving they can play anything they want and hit it out of the park. They could all slap on some sombreros and play mariachi music and I bet it would be awesome. Miku's guitar is definitely NOT plastic. That's one hella expensive pearl fronted Zemaitis. She played a few different ones early on, but not for a while. She's gone with the metal front guitars for years now. She busted out a new one at their Yokohama finale last November.
Band-Maid and Tuneage is a great combo, fer sure! "Bubble" is like 3 or 4 songs rolled into one. (I honestly don't know how they do it). Awesome! Thanks much, Gents! 🕊️
🤘🏽 You noticed the tonal difference immediately. This is the “Conqueror” album most famously known for “Blooming.” I haven’t come up with an adequate description for it yet, so I just call it the “Conqueror Tone.” And thanks for another great reaction with insightful comments 👍🏽 Especially Jason’s observations about the interlude; slow toms and spoken word English from Saiki. (There’s a hilarious video from an okiyuji where Saiki bumbles the words and just ends with “$h!t!!”) Who does think of that? Kanami, all the time, it seems. “secret My lips,” “Moratorium,” “Wonderland;” other notable examples. Whatever that technique is, I hear it in Zac Brown’s writing, too. If you ever discover the technical term for it, please share. I’ve been subscribed since the beginning of your Band Maid journey. I’m searching through my playlist and comparing it to yours to find important songs that deserve you two. If you’ve read this far, maybe there’s a chance you’ll react to “Puzzles,” or even the aforementioned “Wonderlands,” 😏 🤷🏻 Thanks for another Tuneage treat to start my day ☕️ 🤘🏽
HORNS UP! We just recorded Puzzle for next week Thursday :-). We will do Wonderlands the following week and throw you a dedication! Thanks for staying with us in our search for great music! - V.
@@creativitytalkin8057 😁 Excellent news; these songs deserve some Creativity Talkin’ (Apologies for my smart aleckness. The extra ‘s’ in honor of “Bubbles” lol)
After listening and seeing bands live for 60 years- It's a fact that Band-Maid are better in every department than most much bigger rock bands. To just play rock would not be good enough, but some of the more jazz/rock fusion or symphonic metal bands might get close technically and composition wise.
