the more you listen to them the more you find to love and the more you want to learn about them. There are some documentaries on each of the band members that are well worth the watch for budding fans
When they toured the US in 2022 and 2023, I was able to go to 3 shows each year. And I'll probably do it again the next time they come here! You may feel like you won't survive such an awesome performance, but the energy they give off will resurrect you! 😀
Welcome, Po! Now might be a good time to check out Ohrenjes doku-series about the maids. It pretty much tells you everything you need to know. Catch you on the next one, po!
Miku, after winning an idol contest, left the maid cafe. But after a while she tired of being an idol and decided to pursue her dream of a band of hard rocking maids. After securing a contract, she found Kanami through her online videos. Kanmi had worded with Akane before. Akane had attended the Tokyo School Of Music with MISA. But Miku's delicate voice wasn't exactly suited to Hard Rock, and she had always pictured dual vocals for BAND-MAID. And they needed a second guitarist. So, rather than hire a sixth member she dropped back to the Backing Vocal position and had Kanami teach her how to play rhythm guitar.
Welcome Back HOME PRINCESS. Happy to see you getting better and now are Well☺️. And you go pretty Hard (3 songs, Thank you so much🥹). You deserve more than 1 like&sub from me but that all I can do it, so SORRY🙏. We know as reactor you are busy. You don’t need to do reaction on all Their songs, you can listen some on your own sometime(just saying😄😉). AGAIN THANK YOU & HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN
Great news, you loved a poppy sounding song, a ballady acoustic and a heavy heavy rock song with extended solos… there won’t be any Band Maid songs you don’t like. You will like some more than others, but you’ll enjoy everything. I have seen hate? Live, it is, indeed, fscking insane. If you want more extended solo stuff, you want Domination Live and Don’t You Tell Me live… or any of their instrumentals; Onset, From Now On, Without Holding Back… if you want to hear Akane go bonkers on the drums in the background of an otherwise normally structured song I would say Shambles or Warning
Lead Vocals - Saiki Atsumi is my Queen Lead Guitar- Kanami Tono is my Princess Drums - Akane Hirose is my Godess Rythm Guitar - Miku Kobato is my Inspiration Bass - MISA is my Soul
@@JayDavisAtHome My browser wasn't browsing apparently. I get that from time to time where the "Read More" isn't there. Thanks for the reply and have a good day!!!
MAE , thank you for continuing down the BAND-MAID Pigeon hole , BAND-MAID will never disappoint , Live , MV or Acoustic , MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin .
Kanami Tōno( lead guitar and composer) -Greatest musician of our time 🔥❤️ Band-Maid -Greatest band of our time 🔥❤️ Thank you for reacting 🙏🏻 Greets from Finland 🇫🇮🤘
Miku, rhythm guitar and backing vocals, formed the band and first found Kanami, lead guiter a main composer, who recruited Akane, drummer, who then ask Misa to join who she knew from music school, then it was decided a more aggressive singer would fit the music better and Miku, putting ego aside, helped find Saiki. That's the short version.
Now thats how to do a review.......nicely done !!!!!! I get so tired of reviewers constantly stoping the song and saying every thought that pops into their tiny brain.
Magic band...contemporary yet serving the traditions back to the 70s rock I started with. In particular, their song first never mind the genre approach. They're sure gonna take you more places. Enjoy 👍❤🔥🤘🤘🤘
Great reaction and you've covered a lot of years of their songs, Choose Me and Puzzle are older songs and HATE? is about a year old. As to who their are, here's a short video created by Ohrenje (he's from France) introducing Band-Maid (how they started, who they are, etc.) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zRvWuMqDMtk.html
Choose Me is my favorite Band Maid song. Second place goes to Dice. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZpAYnVJX9CY.html Dice came right out of Miku's experiences in Maid Cafes. These two songs have very strong melodies which a lot of their newer songs do not. Coming from Kpop I prefer songs built around a powerful melody. They are amazing musicians no matter what they play.
Just think of the difference in Emotional delivery between Puzzle Acoustic and Puzzle Rock version. It’s about a woman who fell in love with a married man.
If you are interested in learning more about the band members, Ohrenje has some mini documentaries on each band member on his RU-vid channel. Take care and have a great day!
There is a 3rd version of Choose Me. OMV, Live MV from Yokohama's 10th anniversary concert and a very special slow version from the same concert with Saiki singing solo and accompanied by herself on piano. Her debut of this skill was a special surprise for the fans. Very poignant rendition! Lyrics from HATE? are brutal and hilarious!! 10 minutes of limp gymnastics ~ YIKES!
Like others, I recommend the Ohrenji seven part biographical documentary. Why not five, one for each member? Well, Miku takes a bit more to explain, and after all, there wouldn't have been a Band Maid without her. Her soprano voice may not have been best for the genre of music she wanted to play, but it too is beautiful. I recommend that you check out the pandemic Christmas Special when she, Akane, and Misa, do an acoustic version of Sayonakidori (Nightingale). Also, these gals have fun, and for April Fools day, announced that they were dropping their act, and developing a new band (they dressed up in traditional kimono outfits like Geisha apprentices, called themselves Band-Maiko, maiko being Geisha apprentices, and put out a video with a mix of their modern instruments and traditional instruments). Check out that video, too (Secret Maiko Lips).
