Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this very performance at the venue on Nov.26, last year. Very exciting 3-hour-40-minute-long show with 33-song setlist. (Happy fatigue thereafter 😄) Just so you know, I have a ticket to a concert on June 12 by Band-Maid and The Warning, co-head liner.😍

Don't You Tell ME - both the live AND the MV are great.

This song actually has a special intro but they cut it due to unknown reasons. I suggest you buy their Blu-ray of this concert. I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed

Hate? is the new “go-to” jam to wow new reactors, and it does that job very well! It’s not necessarily a better song than others of theirs, although I like it better than Domination. That’s the thing about Band Maid: their catalog is so deep, and so strong, that great songs can actually be in the bottom half of someone’s personal rankings. Domination is great but for me it’s probably in the lower half because there’s so many other great songs I like a little more. You should try “Endless Story” from this same live performance to hear a different side of the group, and to get a feeling for how they love the fans as much as we love them.

This band is one of those rare gems where their live performances outshine their studio work ( even though that's top notch) and part of this is that this band does not shy away from hard work and over the last decade they've played their hearts out in pubs, clubs, dives and are now deservedly getting to the bigger stages. With the song being called “Hate” I always think of the guitar/bass battle as a breakup argument. They it’s like they’re yelling at each other, sometimes mimicking what the other says, eventually breaking down to the point where they’re both shouting at each other at the same time. Then Kanami wins out in the end. Obviously they actually love each other in reality, but I don’t think Saiki hates me either… probably.

Brilliant! Writing down the recommendations gives you a great overview of the strongest material. 26 songs is enough to get a grasp of what the Maids are capable of and how versatile they are. However, they have no less than 40-50 legitimate, superbly crafted and executed songs. (For perspective, “Hate?” isn’t even in my top 40. That speaks to just how inconceivably strong their catalog is. Goosebumps and chills are a natural side effect of Maid magic. There are songs I’ve heard dozens of times that still get me. Here are my top 10 songs today. I recomend the song Don't You Tell Me or the song Freedom live videos for both. Great reaction and that bass/guitar duel is great.

Despite the dual vocal glories of Miku Kobato and Saiki Atsumi and the mind blowing forces of nature of MISA and Kanami Tono pushing their instruments into a hurricane of sound; I say , despite all this magnifcence, this song is dominated by the Happy Beast of Banana destruction ~ Akane Hirose. Her drums sound like the Mongul hoard galloping across the steppes to conquer the known world! Who wins? We win!!

This is one of the great things about going to their Okyu-ji's (translates to "Servings", what the Maids call their live performances), you get added or extended solos and intros. It's just a little something something they do for the Masters and Princesses who show up to rock with them. PO!🕊 As for suggestions: "Daydreaming" MV an awesome rock ballad, which will show you another side of Band-Maid. "From Now On" MV or "Onset" OLV are instrumentals showcases, with a WOW factor through the roof. "Blooming" MV a masterpiece in composition. A homework assignment from Kanami (Lead Guitar and genius composer) to the other Maids. Which she then weaved into this masterpiece. "Manners" and "Blackhole" OLV A two-for which again shows their diversity. Bluesy/groovy "Manners". Heart pounding organized chaos of their currently fast bpm (220 bpm) song Black Hole "Secret My Lips" MV and "Secret Maiko Lips" MV Although not in one video, a back to back two-for would totally make sense. The first by Band-Maid and the second by the cover band Band-Maiko. Only the Maiko's are one of the few bands who can go head to head with the Maids. Funny how they are never in the same room together. 🤔🤭

Mincho (MEEN-cho) MISA (MEE-zuh) - Bass, a.k.a. The Barefoot Assassin (Don't touch her liquor), the closest thing to John Entwistle I have heard Akane - Drums, Loves Bananas, a.k.a. The Gorilla (Half- Human, Half-Gorilla... 100% Akane!) Band-Maid is much more Hard Rock than Heavy Metal. They cross many genres, and the ballads will pierce your soul, but if you like a harder sound, they have a lot to choose from. I would suggest you check out Shambles (Live) from this same concert. There 4 or 5 videos from this show, which was the finale of their 10th Anniversary tour in 2023. Enjoy the slide down the Pigeon Hole!

That little duel between Misa's bass and Kanami's guitar is one of the main reason this gets so many requests, it's the main reason I added my suggestion to the tally. Ok, I'll suggest again, lol. "Thrill" is an older song that got them going and saved the band. And other J-metal bands , not sure if you meant for us to suggest those again but here goes. You should listen to Maximum the Hormone. They’re Japanese as well and served as inspiration for many of these Japanese bands (their female drummer inspired the drummer of Band-Aid). I would say Yoshu Fukushu is one of their best songs and the most shocking one is ALIEN
