BAND-MAID / Manners + BLACK HOLE + NO GOD | REACTION 

I think Kanami and the girls produce the most dense yet completely integrated music for any hard rock band in history. And if you isolate Saiki's singing, it's amazing how many runs and vocal techniques she uses, especially in songs like No God and Wonderland, etc.. But she can be overlooked because of the flurry of notes and sound flying around her. You gotta love these super polite, unassuming geniuses that become warriors on stage and in the studio! Thx Mirela, for another great reaction to the greatest hard rock band on the planet!

I was wondering what your reaction would be once you started hitting hard stuff! And you were pulled into Black Hole! lol. I think BH is one of their fastest and hardest. No God is close though. Band-Maid can do it all though. Soft as About Us to as hard as BH and all be fantastic. Please try Endless Story, Daydreaming, and Alone next. They are more to your tastes I think.

Manners is my fave of the three. It is about their journey and experience as a band. At the end in the MV, the progressively more quiet sounds accompany their disappearance from the house it is in, to the "Unseen World." I don't know how much of the lyrics of "Black Hole" you saw, it can be hard to focus on the music and reading those too, but it appears to me to be Miku using a very vivid word painting of an actual black hole and events involving it to explore some heavy questions and ideas about our existence. And the pace? Supposedly Kanami asked Akane how fast she could play, and was told about 200 beats per minute. She then said she wanted this to be 220. Which is challenging not just getting that many beats in, but doing it precisely. And as we hear, she did it. No God - again, warp speed philosophy... The Pigeon is deep.

MISA MISA MISA! Manners is such an underappreciated song really sad they paired it with Black Hole cos MOST reactors just say WOW Black Hole was awesome as if Manners was not even involved.
