Kanami and Dany did a Q&A on the PRS channel. They both play similar PRS guitars in the same color. In that interview they said that there might be more collabs between them in the future.

I love the mix of two such world-class, first-tier bands, and am loving watching their two massive, vocal and loyal fanbases joining together :) I especially loved that it's obvious that both bands are fans of each other, they all left room in it for everyone to shine, they all remained true to their own musicianship throughout, they were clearly having an absolute blast playing together, and they F*CKING CRUSHED THAT!

I don't think either group is intimidated by the other. They've both fought hard and worked relentlessly to get where they are, and both are still climbing. Plus they spent a bit of time together in Japan and developed a bond.

The skyline scene was perfect for cool bands like this that are looking to expand their horizon.

Love the message, the song is defiant. Kanami did an amazing job putting this together. Little moments for everyone to peak out throughout the entire song not just the duelling section.

Seems from things said that kanami produced this (she produces all bandmaid stuff) she is super perfectionist. And these girls really trust each other. In the studio most days and out on the town in the evenings. They obviously had an incredible time. I expect the rematch will be awesome as bandmaid are much bigger in Mexico than The Warning are in Japan and kanami says she's looking forward to playing "the songs the Warning wrote for us" so I think they will come up with the backbone this time and everyone will pitch in then kanami will make it all fit together and make sense musically. Her obsession with detail is a key bandmaid thing. Her works can be so fast and complex - up to 220bpm - so if she didn't have it all written down in a formal score that the others can read and ammend, it would be a trainwreck, especially live. I expect the Villareal sisters can also read music. If not kanami also puts it into a file on the computer. Bandmaid tend to write stuff they can't play yet and then practice until they can. They don't compose by jamming like a normal band. This is why their stage performances are note for note the studio version plus little extras or bust out solo battles (see bandmaid hate, live at yokohama)

You have to read the Billboard interview with the 2 bands where they talk about how this collaboration happened and their mutual love and respect for each other. It was so inspiring.

Heard Kanami wrote the song. Great job writing for 2 bands, and challenging them too, apparently the key is higher than Dany and Saiki usually use. Their all professional, don't think any of them would be intimidated, but if any were be I think it might be from Misa. Yeah, you only have done 1 Band Maid. Highly recommend "Hate?"(official live). Love the FTF Thrones t-shirt, same one I bought. ❄❄❄

Akane is a world-class rock drummer, she won't be intimidated, even if it is Pau. In the last two years these bands have become Bestie Friends; they like each other, they respect each other's work and they socialize when they can. You're not watching a competition. Instead you are watching an astoundingly good collaboration between friends (this is one reason that the sound is so tight, even though you have two full bands playing at one).

Great collab between two GIANTS of the genre!...Dany and Saiki sound great together.

What do you think it would've sounded like if Anton or Bendeth would've produced it? I feel like Ale's bass lick would've been a lot more prominent. It was a bit lost and imo the best part of the whole song. I want to see it live even more for that reason now.

I can see that the connection between Band-Maid and Mexican rock fans has currently not been explained. In 2014 Band-Maid released a music video of the song Thrill. It went nowhere until it was picked up by a Jrock radio station and shown on their face book site in 2015. In the first week it had 1,000,000 views and by the second week it had 2,000,000 views. It turned out that for some reason most of these views had come from Mexico. As a thank you, in 2016 Band-Maid's first show outside of Japan was in Mexico to very enthusiastic fans. So, in a way it was natural that when Band-Maid and The Warning met at a festival in the US, in 2022 I believe, there was a natural affinity between the band members- see the video of their meeting, sorry don't have the link. Anyway, just thought you might find this interesting if you didn't already know.

Kanami wrote the song Miku wrote the lyrics and The Warning polished the arrangement this was a true collaboration between bands that respect the hell out of each other, also just think about having 5 lead quality singers ( Saiki, Dany, Paulina, Miku and Ale) in the studio at the same time what a problem to have.

Hey Jesse, cool FTF T-shirt. Yeah, Dany is matching her voice to Saiki and her guitar to Kanami. Great bass from Ale and Misa, and drums performance from Pau and Akane. Now, that TW has been in Japan, I hope to see all these lovely ladies together in Mexico next year in February.

Once again DPA attempt something new and kill it. Not that familiar with Band-Maid but damn that whole thing was fire. Especially the vocals, Dany and Saiki up that high really work so well together. The live show video was incredible (while it lasted - though I think there is still one version active on here that hasn't been taken down yet), the dueling section was even better live. Also, there is a print interview with all 8 on billboard-Japan (the original translated through Google is better than the English version of the site) that offers some interesting insights into how they created the song. Other than all the love they were showing each other my favourite part was that Pau used Akane's drums to record it, and Akane was amazed at the sound/power Pau got out of them.

My thoughts about bandmaid - well I personally wont be a Band Maid fan - their music is a bit too chaotic to me - but it's nice to see the friendship - and that's not bad ehh?

Broke the desk on The Warning!! Love it. I had to grin when early on it was the equipment that caught your attention. That was so Jesse, man! I'm a little puzzled by the shots of the girls on the street: Pau giving Dany a look as Dany passes by; Ale seeming to pull in as her counterpart, Misa (I assume it is), passes by. It just seems out of context. am I missing something in the video and music? Did you catch those moments? Anyway, I have to agree this is an awesome song and collaboration. I understand they performed it at their joint concert; I hope we get to see that, too.

It definitely sounds more like a BM song, just without their typical prolonged soloing; not surprising given that I understand Kanami was the main composer. I think the instruments (especially Pau and Ale) were too far back in the mix compared to the vocals, giving it more of a pop rock than hard rock vibe to me. Still happy to see the bands collaborating. 😎👍

This was a BM look at me with the warning tagging along. Its disgraceful the way Ale and Pow were basically just standing there. Ale and Pow music is on another level which is what make the Warning so good but this and this song did have that and had them look like stand ins
