My daughter introduced me to BOH back in the day. We're a big music family and these guys are at the top of my list. Bought a BOH shirt from the current lead guitarist in 2017. That cat has come a long way. Had a great chat during sound check way up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Wife agrees that entire day and the show was our best ever. Can't wait for this week in Denver!
The Funeral" is a song by the American rock band Band of Horses, taken from their debut studio album, Everything All the Time (2006). The alternative rock song was written by the band members. The song was released as the debut single from the band and lead single from the album. A live version of the song appeared earlier on the band's self-titled EP, under the original name "Billion Day Funeral". Lyrics [Verse 1] I'm coming up only to hold you under I'm coming up only to show you're wrong And to know you is hard, we wonder To know you all wrong, we won [Pre-Chorus] Ooooooooh Oooooooooh Ooooooooh Oooooooooh [Verse 2] Really too late to call so we wait for Morning to wake you is all we got And to know me as hardly golden Is to know me all wrong, they warn [Chorus] At every occasion, I'll be ready for the funeral At every occasion once more, it's called the funeral At every occasion, oh, I'm ready for the funeral At every occasion, oh, one billion day funeral [Bridge] I'm coming up only to show you down for And coming up only to show you're wrong To the outside, the dead leaves lay on the lawn For they don't have trees to hang upon [Pre-Chorus] Ooooooooh Oooooooooh Ooooooooh Oooooooooh [Chorus] At every occasion, I'll be ready for the funeral At every occasion once more, it's called the funeral At every occasion, oh, I'm ready for the funeral At every occasion, oh, one billion day funeral [Bridge] I'm coming up only to show you down for And coming up only to show you're wrong To the outside, the dead leaves lay on the lawn For they don't have trees to hang upon [Outro] Ooooooooh Oooooooooh Ooooooooh Oooooooooh
