Logue Town Lets Goooooo!! now y'all get to see the guy in the end credit of Live Action

Just a bit of context for these Buggy episodes: what oda does in the manga is that he has "cover stories" which means he shows little side stories of some characters told through the covers of the regular chapter. So you get pretty much this one panel every chapter for maybe 20-30 chapters in parallel to the main story of usually some side characters and see what is up with them. So in the manga you see Buggy's little adventure while the actual chapters were dealing with Syrup Village and Baratie (I think around the start of Arlong Park was when this side story finished). The anime then went and turned it into those two episodes after Arlong Park. There's one more of these instances a bit later but then the anime eventually stops doing them which is a bit unfortunate. They often aren't hugely important but it's a fun way to see what some characters are up to after meeting the Strawhats.

These episodes are quite endearing towards Buggy. Oda having these canon sideways/random cover stories is one of the most efficient and genius ways I have seen a fantasy author build their world and make it feel alive and independent of the Strawhats. Forms the basis/ start of Oda showing us that things happen while we follow the Strawhats, not involving them, and then when he introduces things later on, we hardly question it or feel it is an ass pull because we already have been shown that the world is dynamic and alive. This type of writing has made me experience something 15 years after my peers first experienced it- story immersion. I hope you guys won't mind being sent the chapter cover stories that don't end up being animated. Great video as always, see ya'll on the next one.

None “one piece “watchers complain about the thousand episode, saying its overwhelming , while us long time fans find these people very lucky.. i mean they dont have to wait weeks/months for the next episode to come, plus they can wAtch it at their own pace and leisure. Also, many episode means you wont ran out soon, you’ll get to enjoy it way longer than other animes.

You're now on Alabasta arc. East Blue made me hooked but the next arc made me fall in love with One piece. But the next arc, water 7 and ennies lobby made me obsessed

I'd forgotten about the little shorts, lol. yeah, the small Buggy episodes were cover stories that Oda showed in the manga. I know there wasn't much in these episodes but my favorite parts of the anime is the world building, shown by the Marines talking about the bounties and the little parts of the crew on the ship doing daily chores. Have you guys decided how to you'll do fillers yet? Some fillers have main story information some are just fun side alongs. I mean, i dont' think you should skip any of the fillers but i know some may think differently. Remember One Piece is a journey not a race. Loguetown is Next! Some cool characters coming and really awesome epsides! Can't wait, I'll be there for it!

One Piece has a very popular list of filler and canon episodes. 61 is the end of Loguetown, but there are several pure filler episodes between 54 and 61. But yeah what do you guys want to see from now on? What places or powers or plots would you like to see? Also a Saga discussion would be great. And maybe Arc discussion videos as we finish each one?

54 - 61 are filler episodes. But TOEI put the knowledge about Grandline's Calm Belt at the beginning of episode 55 (5-10 minutes).

So, I checked up on the Canon section in the upcoming fillers of 54-61...try to kindly watch this area :- 1) First 8 minutes of ep 54 (just weather consistency, and a good Luffy-Zoro comedy moment) 2) First 8 minutes of ep 55 (World lore, rule of Grandline, very good stuff) 3) After eyecatcher commerical, ep 61..like from minutes 13 or something. All Canon stuff from there.

Ah yes the good old filler debate! This is always a contentious one for sure. Im going to try and only list some objective (as much as possible) pros and cons here. Pro watching filler: - There arent really all that many anyway, around 9% - (thats still 100ish episodes though, no small amount of time.) - Some are just plain chill fun with the crew, kinda like "slice of life" style anime, and stuff like that when it involves characters as charming as the SHs is nice, no? - Skipping early filler is not that easy all the time since some episodes are 50% canon/filler and keeping track of what to watch and skip is a bit annoying, so why not just watch all for simplicity? - Some filler are Christmas/new year/other themed or even crossovers with shows like Dragonball. These are 100% stand alone but also just plain fun. Later fillers also might be tie ins to whatever OP movie was coming out at the time - if you plan on checking out some of those movies, watching their corresponding filler might not hurt? Pro skipping filler: - time. Simple as that. yeah 9% isnt much filler, but still 100x20minutes.... thats... long :D - At around the 500 mark filler are generally (from what I see people say online) considered to be less tolerable than early on. Repetitive, boring etc - opinions vary ofc. - Fillers sometimes contradict the main story. I cant really name examples for spoiler reasons down the line. Its not that big a deal imo, but I also cant deny that. - No matter how charming, a filler simply has limitations. Stakes cant be to high, nothing in the status quo is allowed to change etc... it is what it is. Thats not for everyone and thats understandable. Idk - hope this might help in some way. If you hold my feet to the fire Id come down on "case by case" is prbly the way to go.

This MAY seem silly and dated to unsuspecting ears and eyes... but all of this is what makes the epic and badass moments of one piece truly meaningful... not just as a contrast but as reminder that youre wathing... you know, actual characters journeys and lfies progressing... silly as they maybe, this is why later arcs works os well since they carry the weight of all this early innocent shenigans with them :D

45-47 are episodes strong on filler. The Little Buggy great adventure appears on the cover stories of the manga but not in the actual manga. Yet, this filler advances the side story, not the main story. Personally, I enjoy most of the filler because normally has a lot of gags and banter. Solo Leveling is great, I've watched until episode 5.

Ahoy!👋🏻 So you´re probably already filming the Loguetown episodes, just make sure to end that arc on episode 61. That will make for a satisfying closure of the East blue saga and teaser for the Grand Line. There are some filler episodes in this arc, up to you if you want to watch ´em. Alternatively you could also watch it without reacting. 50-51 filler 54-60 filler I personally love a certain episode in the upcoming arc loguetown , I'm looking forward to your reactions

Fun little in the Live Action Sanji kicking Full body and another character when doesn't drop the bread. The first thing Oda came out there was Romance Dawn but Garp is a pirate and gives Luffy the hat. But the main villian in that is the character Sanji kicks in the live action with Full Body.

Buggys adventure to strange animals island has lowkey tons of symbolism and metaphor for being peaceful and loving one another. Arguably the wokest episode in One Piece. 😅

I'm so excited! I'm especially excited for a certain character in Loguetown, I see from the other comments that you'll be skipping filler and I think that's a good idea. Although there is a filler arc far into the future that is amazing and should never be skipped, its called the G-8 arc, but that's so far away that I'm sure others will bring it up when you get close! Fun watching this with you guys! The first true filler arc is episodes 54-60, and these ones are actually super important to skip cause they give Zoro an upgrade he shouldn't have had yet and they introduce a creature you aren't supposed to know exists yet. Totally confused the heck out of me when I was first getting into the show since in those days I didn't understand what filler was.

Episode 54 - 60 is filler. I know some people like it because it explains a little about the geography of the world but you could rather have some one in the comments explain it in like 2 sentences. Also it is a hassle to remember what characters are a part of the story or those who are just filler character never to be seen again. It's also nice to save them for last if you get more One Piece cravings after you caught up.

How are you guys gonna approach fillers?? Personally I wouldn’t mind if they were skipped cuz they aren’t really canon and you wouldn’t have to wait to continue the main story. Either way, I’m here for it 😁
